Hello,
The family name I am researching is also Ulkowski. My great grandfather's name was Marjan or Marian Ulkowski. His children were Ignacy, Michalina and Petronela. The mother's name was Antonette Czehulski???? but she died when they were very young. Could this be the same family. The information I have is that they were from a small village called Czarne but it may be close to the village you speak about in your posts. I am hitting a brick wall and thought I might take a chance that you knew of this family. Thank you.
