Tarzana8 3 | 27 28 Apr 2007 / #1I have looked through many websites and still cannot find a truemeaning for my ancestor's surname. There is even a model house in Poland with that name.
miranda 28 Apr 2007 / #2I am not sure what you mean. Most of the surname have lost their meaning over the years (that applies to most languages) since they may have been altered during the history, including immigration, when most people had their last names altered to fit the spelling of the new country they came to.I am sure there are some professional services which might provide with an answer, but most likely you have to pay for them.Good luckPS. do you have the original spelling or has it been altered?
miranda 28 Apr 2007 / #4frazka - small phraseIf I were to speculate, I would say that perhaps your last name could have been Fraszka, but I don't know that for sure.
OP Tarzana8 3 | 27 28 Apr 2007 / #9Yes, I am sorry..............it is FRASZKA.Why would a model house be named that?
