my grandparents were kita and arrived in bethlehem pa to work for bethlehem steel in around 1890 to 1910 or so gramm may have been a tlucek and had a sister Julia Dad folks were Sawinski from around Warsaw?? maybe Any history ?? Do Poles have orphanages adn need rescuing like from silesia?? I have been praying for them to get out of coal and trying to set up solar electric here. The polish world travelers i met in Alaska were fascinating and i am interested in the culture and history but dont like the food, ok. My choice. My mommy spoke slovakian also i remember that.

Did any of your family have these names:

Nellie, Anna, Stella, Mary and Edward, living in Bethlehem in 1930? Nellie came to the US in 1905.

I may have found them online in the ancestry.com files and if so, you might be able to find more about them at familysearch.org or surnamenavigator.org, in addition.
