Spalko 8 | 33 2 Nov 2008 / #1I was wondering if anyone knows how to obtain Polish Military Records. The tricky part is that I only know the name of my great uncle Antoni Rucinski and the possible year that he was born (1890). If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!Thank You!!

Eagle20 16 | 119 15 Mar 2009 / #14All I really gave them was my grandfathers name and date of birth.I found out that he was in the 1-szy Pułk Ułanów Krechowieckich and received a 'Krzyż Walecznych', twice, in 1920 whilst fighting the Bolsheviks.

Jampat 1 | 11 18 Mar 2009 / #19Unfortunately I don't know Polish, (I studied Latin and am currently studying German), If anyone could put Merecki into either of those websites and read the results I would greaty appreciate it. I know there was one Merecki in the USSR army who was KIA in 1940.. but I do not know about any Polish relatives who fought in 1939. I know my direct ancestors moved to America before WW2, but I do not know if any cousins or uncles fought for Poland.
