My Great Uncle Matty - Matthew Lukasik fought for the Polish army out of Canada

My great Uncle Matthew Lukasik fought for the polish army out of canada...I recently discovered that he wrote a poem ( " prayer for a polish soldier") and an editorial ("the fighting americans in the polish army in canada") that were published in the "Zgoda". For his service in the war he was awarded the Cross of Virtuti Militari...and later in life he became a Franciscan Brother. I have been trying to find any archives which would have the articles i have listed, with no results. If anyone has any information on where i can search such things, it would be greatly appreciated.

This is a tough one. Was the poem written in Polish and where is Zgoda based?
If he was a Franciscan Brother there will be a record of him at the headquarters of the Franciscan monks of the given country.

i think the poem was writen in Polish.....the Zgoda is based out of Chicago, IL....when i tried to look it up their archives only go back a little ways..definitely not back to WWII. i'm trying very hard to google every which way to try to find this information. i also have many many poems he wrote..some of which are in polish ( i actually have letters to him in polish as well) and i am trying to translate them. If i use an online translator....some words don't come through, i assume because of possible "slang" terms....so i'm also looking if anyone would be willing to translate a few pages for me....that would be wonderful
