Hi!

Seemingly, tea is getting popular but lack variety to choose from unlike in other countries. Asian has lots of it, from green tea, oolong and black tea. Hmmm...that would be a good sign for a business venture? Maybe?

Hi Phils 333! I love those little Chinese stores where you can find and try tee which tastes like heaven and then you cannot get it in any groceries store....

Yah totally agree with you Polishgirltx. That is why we became constant customer of these little asian stores. One thing i love with them, they greet you happily upon entering their store (Nee haw Mah! ...Moshi Moshi!).

Well, i have never been in Poland, and based on postings here, apparently there are few stores selling teas or serving teas. Anyone who has business in his mind and love teas could start thinking of importing teas or introduced the habit of drinking teas. Aside from coffee, drinking tea is also healthy, rich in anti-oxidant (based on some reviews).

Yes Also fruit syrups in HOT TEA IS GREAT!!! I AGREE

Actually it looks as we are talking about the same thing. We call it "sok" in my household, but clearly you re right, it should be syrup and it's great indeed.

Poland has a centuries old tradition of drinking tea. Even during the communist times there were always quite a variety of teas available, usually sold under generic names (assam, ulung, madras, ceylon). Green tea and other flavored teas was unknown. It was a custom of flavoring ea with fruit preserves. People who like and know about tea will never touch tea bags, making tea is not a big ritual there, but it takes some preparation. Bergamot flavored teas (Earl Grey) were unknown, occasionally they showed up from Soviet Union, but for purists these as any other flavored teas are not real teas. I lived in the UK some time ago and think that the best of any I ever had is Marks and Sparks "Extra Strong" it is a blend of mainly Assam, and never any milk (I even strong armed my English companion not to have it with milk). Whenever I have a chance I am logging a suitcase full of this stuff.

This is my first post and the question about tea is what made me register. I have never been a tea drinker, but found in Poland that I really liked it. When I asked what I was drinking, so that I could shop for some in the grocery store, my Polish hosts laughed and identified it as Lipton Yellow Label -- probably about the least expensive tea to buy in the store. Lipton Yellow Label can't be purchased in the US, at least any place that I've been.

It might be under another name. e-mail Lipton to find out, or check their web-site.
