I've looked all over the net and can't find a recipe. Maybe there are some in Polish? Any help would be appreciated :)

Never heard of it. Is it a dessert or a main dish? :)

It's a desert/snack. It's similar to butter taffy with slivers of almond (or whatever nut made with). It's made in little discs.

One website describes theirs as:

orginalne ciastka z zapiekanych migdałów w karmelu z daktylami

Hope that helps :)

Here is a picture I took in Poznan. Hope you can see:

Florentynki
Danie wegetariańskie: tak
Autor: Zosia Winawer

I haven't actually tried it, but the comments say its pretty good. Smacznego.

just in case, here's the translation.

Ingredients:
- 75 g honey
- 15 candied cherries or cherries in syrup
- 130 g fried oragne peel (6 tablespoons)
- 200 g sugar
- 130 g sliced almonds
- 50 g flour
- 1 package of cream 18%
- 250 g bitter chocolate
- 1 tablespoon of oil

Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees C. (430 F.) Lightly brown the almonds on frying pan. Drain the cherries, cut up into small pieces, do the same with the orange skins. In a saucepan, combine the cream, honey, and sugar and slowly, while stirring constantly heat. Add the cherries, orange, almonds, and all the while stirring, add the flour. Place mounds of batter onto a oiled baking pan. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

Wait until the cookies cool and remove them from the pan with the aid of a spatula.
Melt the chocolate and pour the chocolate into little circles, a little bit bigger then the cookies onto a flat dish. Place the flat side of each cookie into the chocolate. Wait till everything cools, and enjoy.
