This is a scottish thing, irn-bru and a roll and sausage.

got to be a can of irn-bru, bottled tastes different because its glass/plastic whereas the iron/metal in the can changes the taste of the drink slightly.

The roll and sausage must have tomato ketchup or brown sauce on it, and possibly with onion.

Have to agree up to a point ! Glass Irn Bru tastes better than cans, plastic Irn Bru only if you are desperate. Got to be bacon instead of sausage. Ketchup for bacon.

BTW - I only realised recently that Doda is the face of Irn Bru in Poland.

the best thing is to take a painkiller before u go to bed (i know it may be hard when youre really drunk)

also what helps me a lot in the morning is tea with at least 2 sugars in it. after drinking alcohol the sugar level in blood drops and you feel crap.

juice from sour gherkins is good for you anyway. My housemates are giving me weird looks when i drink it straight out of the jar...

2Kac can be bought here. I don't do hangovers as I don't drink enough.

Take a pint of water before bed. That is, if you can get it into your mouth ;)

You will no longer be feeling the hangover because the pain of salmonila will kick right in. =)

Nothing better than running around naked outside in sub-zero temperatures, that'll sharpen up even the dullest soul :)

Or, failing that, some ice-cold water splashed onto your face.

Not really, they attributed it to the Polish.

Germany - pickled herring
Japan - pickled plums
Romania - tripe soup
China - strong green tea
Russia - Leafy birch branches (to whip toxins out in a sauna)
Mexico - shrimp
Netherlands - Beer (Sign me up!)
Poland - Sour pickle juice
Denmark - Salt
USA - Tomato juice / Eggs
Italy - Coffee
