Polish beer-match food

I know the Polish love drinking beers that's why I was wondering what their favorite beer-match food would be. What do the Polish eat while drinking beer? What food goes best with the Polish beer?

Just to add, in the Philippines (and probably other Latin American countries), peanuts and chicharon (deep fried pork rind) goes best with beer drinking. I was wondering what the Polish counterpart would be... and if the Polish would probably like to try chicharon haha!

I like beer with Golonka, bigos, Kielbasa/frankfurterky/kabanosy or goulasz :)

In the Phillipines I tried balut(sp) with beer...the beer was good :)

Yep, beer and bigos or krokiety here for me. Usually Żywiec if it's Polish beer I'm having.

:)

Wow you've been to the Philippines, I am glad to hear that! Is it okay if I have a link/photos/descriptions of what these are? I'd really like to try them with Polish beer one time; they say Polish beer is the best in the world!

What food goes best with the Polish beer?

I like your attitude farrah.
Straight to the heart of the matter.
Grilled Polish sausage with beer after snowboarding is a personal favorite.
I thought Polish were better known for vodka drinking, in with case there are different foods to go with the drink, such are pickled herrings.

Hi SeanBM! I also like how you answered it straight to the point! Thanks!

By the way, this is for my Global Marketing class. My group was assigned to study Poland. :)

I wouldn't say Polish beer is the best in the world. Travel a bit and u'll come to that conclusion. I think Czech beer would get that award. However, some Asian beers run them close. It's just a matter of preference.

Tyskie is quite common, well worth forking out for. As for food, well, it depends on the season. Pierogi are commonly eaten in winter but they can be eaten at any time.

Well, when it comes to drinking beer with certain foods, I like PL food with PL beer because the beer is strong and the food is hearty. Can't drink too many without soaking it up with some good grub.

Spot on Zgubi!! They complement each other well. Eating in winter in Poland is a real taste experience, washed down with a Zywiec.

Zywiec is what the mountaineers drink, along with Harnas. Starve urself b4 going to such restaurants as u'll likely be eating and drinking a fair bit. It kinda goes with the territory.

Zurek goes well with most things. Zurek and Krupnik, that's a nice combo!!
