kinga 1 | 8 17 Feb 2007 / #1Sorry, silly question I know, but I'm new around here so still don't have it all down-packed. I'm wondering if there's a way of knowing when certain threads are active so that I can participate more in discussions, cos at the moment I'm sort of randomly rumbling around reading old posts (which is great fun btw :))Also, what time does this forum follow? I'm in Australia so I've got no idea.Anyone? No? As fun as it is to read old posts I'd love to be able to have a good chin-wag, or finger-wag!!Thanks, kinga
daffy 23 | 1,500 17 Feb 2007 / #3as to time - no idea, i just go by date.hell its no harm to restart an old thread! :)
OP kinga 1 | 8 17 Feb 2007 / #4Thanks Ranj and Daffy!! Cool:) I've been following the "latest discussions" btw, I just thought maybe there was a surer way of knowing exactly what's being discussed in the moment, cos you still only know whether something was discussed "today" or "yesterday" rather than right now - but still, you're right daffy, no harm in restarting an old thread, so off I go........:)cheers, kinga
daffy 23 | 1,500 17 Feb 2007 / #5yea, work away! its not like a conversation really gets old when there is a new voice to add :)One of the things that gets me here is they can disappear so easily

Admin 29 | 1,504 Administrator 17 Feb 2007 / #10You guys should be using the 'Checker' at the top of the page. That's correct. Thanks, Admin
Janey - | 30 16 Aug 2007 / #11I must admit being new to PF I find it hard know which threads are currently active even when following Admin advise. My biggest problem is I'm usually working, sleeping or looking after my family and always seem to be too late to join in. Oh well
Zgubiony 15 | 1,553 16 Aug 2007 / #12I must admit being new to PF I find it hard know which threads are currently active evenThe ones that are populated in the home page or in your 'checker' at the top. Clear them out and you can refresh all of the up to date discussions.
