HELP... HOW DO YOU REGISTER?

A question for the admin experts...Its a long time since i first registered , so i forget the procedure.. The thing is...i met this nice Polish lady who i told about the forum , and she wanted to join...well she tried and tried to get on it , but had a problem... i tried to guide her through it , but its a long while since i did it... Please can you tell me in simple language how to get on as a guest or to register , so i can tell my friend.... She is konwalia..i don,t know if you can trace her attempt to join us.....Thanks for your help wildrover.

She justs needs to go to this page: polishforums.com/index.php?action=registernew and fill out the form correctly (according to the instructions on that page), then login.

Hi...my friend ( konwalia ) has tried to register on the forum , and post a message , but was unable to do so....She admits she is not an expert with computers , and i can,t really help her as i can,t remember the process myself... Any idea,s on what she can be doing wrong......?

enter the code given to proceed then fill out the form on the next page and hit register button

WR, maybe you could set up the account for her then provide her with the login details...

Thats an idea....oh..just tried that..and it told me i am already a member..and logged in.....maybe i should log off and try....

yeah you need to not be logged in :-)

Is the confirmation email going into her Junk mail folder?

I will ask her.....problem is i am not there to help her....trying to do it by email....i will keep trying....

Even as a guest she can read this thread and click on Admin's link which will take her to the code. Type in the code and click the link below. That will take her to the registration page. There are only four required fields:

*Username
*Email
*Password
*Repeat password

If there are any errors when signing up it won't move onto the next page. If registration is successful then she will be prompted to log in.

Remember that PM isn't valid straight away.
