Can I send pickled veges in jars back to Australia from Poland

I am currently in Poland and I am desperately trying to find out if I can post a box
Of jarred pickles back home for my husbands father who is polish. Is anyone able to help me out. They would be sent to Australia.

I just know you can't send glass from UK to Australia so not sure if it is Australian or EU rule. Problem is it will probably crack en route no matter how well you pack it. Also it is a food item as well so you may face problems about that too.

There are many Polish delicatessens here in ever major city !
Also often major supermarkets have polish pickles, and other goodies
just have to look carefully cause I saw a jar of "Polskie Ogórki" on it
but under closer inspection they were product of India :-) still taste good

Merged: Sending stuff from Poland to Oz

I'm moving to Melbourne from Krakow in October and I want to send some things to myself!

Does anyone know any cheap international transport options? It's fine if it takes a few months... as long as it gets there in the end.

Poczta polska you can try them 20kg is about 200pln.
I was sending 10 boxes and I got them back after 2-4 months. Just depends if ur box will go through customs in Australia they take for ever.

or you can try talk to airlines my sister in law got really good deal when she was moving back from Morocco to Melbourne.
