Need to send sms to 600 number in Poland

I am really struggling to send text messages from England, half of the time my message fails and I have to write the whole thing out again. It's so frustrating, I've phoned 3 and they said they are having issues because too many people are sending text messages to Poland. Anyway this sounds like a crappy excuse for poor service.

I was wondering is there any website anywhere (either in english or polish) that will allow me to send a text message to this number: 600 579 5xx

It's a Polish mobile phone. Not sure what network it's on. I tried bramka sms and that said it didn't support 600 numbers.

I don't know if it will allow this or not, but I know you can dial phones from your computer using MSN Messenger. Whether it supports the # you are trying to reach, I do not know. Good Luck.

Hi Ranj thanks for your help, I cant use MSN to call him though. He cant speak english, has no email / internet so the only way i can communicate with him is via sms as he translates it using a book.

I do it through this web sita but I had to register first with an emal, give them my cell number and have a password they had sent me via sms. The web site is in polish so I don't know how you can handle it.

Damn, don't think that will work, I'm in England so it'll fail on the text message password.

Is it saying that i need an era phone to join?

I dont care about cost, if anyone knows of a paid service i'll pay whatever, but i just need to send this message its so important.

i dont understand, what does that mean, I never sent the message to a 604 number the number i sent to starts with 600.

Is it saying that if i send the message to the 604 number it will be forwarded to the 600 number? or is it saying that i cant send a message to a 600 number because its not an era subscriber.

Sorry for the hassle, its just so important i contact this person.

It says that If you want to have access to their services, you have to log in, and for that you need a password, which you can get after you send sms to that 604... number.

(At least I think so)

Have you called the Era call centre. They have English speaking agents.

I use clickatell.com for my PC based SMS messaging. I have access to a corporate deal but I think you can buy credits as an individual too.

Cheers for the number mate. I'm gonna phone Era tommorow and see what they say.

I hope they do speak english, becuase the only things I can say in polish are "****", "I have a massive hangover", "you look like an angel" and "can I have a pint of lech!"

They helped me oit a few years back with a similar problem and they spoke English well enough for me. Just as well cos my Polish was not that good either.

I phoned them up and the guy said he's passing it onto their tech support department. He said lots of people from england have signed up without problems.

So I'm hoping they'll sort this next monday.
