Should I take a job ..
a. as a publisher's editor in Athens
b. as an English teacher in Krakow
c. as an English teacher in the heel of Italy

I really like option one, as unlike TEFL, it does actually have the ring of a 'proper job'. The wages are low but a flat is thrown in at a v cheap rent. I like the idea of sitting around in Exharchia wearing dark glasses, learning how to make Molotov cocktails (only joking).

PFers I need your advice...

@Roz, if you don't want to teach and prefer to do an online job then get in touch with me.
I would avoid Greece right now. Just too much going on there. South of Italy is very hot in the summer but food is amazing. I love Krakow - I think it is Poland's most romantic city.

yes I fell in love with Krakow when I visited (too long ago now) but it was a very lovely autumn with golden sunshine and the city just looked amazing.

The idea of British stag parties going there has put me off in more recent years - that was back in the mid 90s......not sure if I could stand them..:)

Could you PM me Polsyr? I am intrigued now..:)
I love Athens as well, and can manage with the language OK.....decisions decisions..

Pretty depressing times in Greece these days... Kraków is nice to visit, but otherwise too polluted, especially in the heating season just around the corner... La dolce vita in Italia sounds most tempting to my ears...
