Polish Residency Cards. Is there a Permanent ID card for Foreigners?

Brit Embassy told me that it isn't possible. Must be at the discretion of border guards who don't know.

In Olsztyn they make their own rules. My guys had no problem when I asked them.

Yeah, 10 years. Hopefully by then they'll have a better design to replace it.

The thing with not having the ID with me when I had the accident was that I couldn't pay my fine by credit card.

Always cheaper to pay in cash anyway.

To bring this up to date: the rysopis field isn't required, but AKTUALNIE documents aren't. The woman moo'ed this at me repeatedly when she saw my proof-of-self-employment was dated to the beginning of 2009, and she didn't like that at all. She grudgingly accepted my application, but told me to bring a new copy from the Urzad Gmina ASAP, which I did.

So consider that a caution; all supporting documents must be no older than six months, or it will delay your application.

And, in true Bureacrat style, having received four copies of the application, four copies of my passport, my meldunek, evidence and old karty pobytu, they still managed to get my name wrong on the new form...

hi!
Application form for the issue of the document certifying the permanent residence right for eu citizens on page 3 E (justification of the application) stay in the territory of the republic of poland within the last 5 years/provide periods of stay, purposes of the stay in individual periods, as well as breaks between the stays exceeding 6 months a years and their reasons.

How do the administration knows if the ue citizen was in poland during the whole period without exceeding 6 months a year? I don't understand it.

how many member states in the E.U issue permanent residence cards to eu citizens?
In Spain it's a paper format A4 not a card.

Many eu citizens complain about it cause hasn't any photo and they have a lot of problems when used.
