I am not sure what you mean but if you mean that you do not speak Polish and wish to study in Poland? there are courses in other languages.

If you would just like to learn Polish? sure you can and I think it helps to be in the country to immerse yourself in the language.

But if you mean you don't speak Polish, want to study a subject in the Polish language and would you just pick it up handy enough? then I would recommend learning Polish to a good level beforehand.

Yes, it is possible to study in Poland IN the English language. And to learn the polish language. It really depends what you are studying. If you are in the Sciences I would say go for it they have some great programmes and in English too. It's a completely other story though if you want to major in English; because you might aswell go to a English speaking country to get the best degree.

Yes, it's possible. If I were you I'd go to a cheaper city like Lodz for language studies. I know that Polonus-Lodz is somewhat affordable. University of Lodz also offers courses but mainly for ERASMUS students :)

Best city in Poland to learn Polish in?

Of these cities, which one would you recommend an American to spend 6-12 months learning about Polish culture and the Polish language? Lodz, Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakow.

Dziekuje!
