Next work contract extended to permanent. How does it work in Poland?

Hi all,

I received today the confirmation from my manager that my contract will be extended to a permanent contract
as soon my current contract will end. How does it work in Poland? Can they extend your contract by only telling
you or do I have to sign it before it will be end? I cannot find any information about this in my current contract
my current contract only state that if they wanna fire me that they have to announce this two weeks before.

I hope someone knows the answer here.

why are you concerned? you have a permanent job, just chill. they will inform you when your present contract gets over. you will receive a mail from your hr shortly. this is what happened to me.

Which workplace contracts are covered by the law that says an employer must give a permanent contract if it wants the worker to continue working for it after 2 consecutive non permanent contracts expire?

Spoke to a lawyer recently and he said only proper employer's own employee temporary contracts are covered , not specific work task temporary contracts which are exempt, he said. This would seem to mean that employers can simply issue any number of specific work task temporary contracts instead of employer's own employee temporary contracts and get around the penalties of not issuing a permanent contract after the second temporary contract finishes, doesn't it?

If so then why does such a loophole exist which allows employers to go >2 temporary contracts one after the other and not face penalties for keeping empoyees on temporary status minus bonuses, holidays and all such normal employee security.

They say that employers flexibility to employ and fire at any time increases average employment level in the country.
