How much does a lieutenant colonel get in Poland?

Dear Friends,
It's a simple question but i really need the answer for it.
Please tell me how much money does a lieutenant colonel get in the Polish Army?

in 2009:

U- 15 - 5 100,00
U- 15A - 5 250,00
U- 15B - 5 450,00
U- 15C - 5 800,00

PLN gross

What is the difference between U-15, U-15A, U-15B and U-15C please?

It's probably experience. It's above average salary and let's not forget that they have retirement after around 20 years of military service. That means thy can be retire in the age of 40. Some 20 years before normal people. IMHO it's stupid system.

Yeah, i've heard that after around 20 years of military service they can retire. However, if they want to serve more, they also can apply to serve until 60. Is that right?
