9900pln ... a month, will that be good enough to live a high life in Warsaw?

High, no; decent, yes.

9900pln or roughly 3000USD

You're more than slightly out of date when it comes to the exchange rate, amongst other things I expect.

Exchange rate is collapsing again. It's almost over the symbolic 1USD = 4PLN mark.

roughly 3000USD a month

More like 2500 USD according to the latest FX rates as Dollar got much stronger recently.

will that be good enough to live a high life in Warsaw?

It depends on your definition of "high life"... by Warsaw standards that would be quite good money but from from impressive, the salaries over there are much above national figures.

It certainly wouldn't be impressive by Warsaw standards, probably not even 'good'. But certainly would be a least decent.

the salaries over there are much above national figures.

Go to somewhere such as Przemysl and you'd have trouble spending 10,000 a month; even on the old town square there a beer is under 3zl! Here in Warsaw it's pretty easy to drop a grand on a meal for two and a few drinks afterwards (more if you go to Amaro's for the meal) but in Przemysl you'd be pressed spend more than a couple of hundred.

Certainly not.

Oh really!I thought some people make 7 times that in PLN in Poland only, that too netto, even small restaurant(now little bigger) restaurant owners make 3 times that:D

Hello All,

What about 9500 netto in Katowice? Will there be better savings than one can make in Warsaw ?

Here's a site that will compare prices:
numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_cities.jsp?country1=Poland&city1=Warsaw&country2=Poland&city2=Katowice

9500 net >>> 9900 gross

9900 gross is roughly 7000 net which is not that great for Warsaw.

Polish income

What is the average monthly income of a Polish family? I'm enquiring because I would love to relocate to Poland with my family. Spent 3 weeks there recently and fell in love with the country again. I believe it would be a fantastic place to bring up my child.
