Cześć,

I'm about to move to Poznań to my Polish girlfriend but I'm a bit worried about finding a job in that city. My Polish language skills are practically zero but I speak English and Hungarian fluently and French intermediately. Besides this I have MSc in management. Do you guys have any idea how to find a job there?

Thank you from the mountain :) (z góry dziękuję)

Moving to another country for a girlrfiend is almost always a bad idea. What are you going to do if you break up? Will you still want to live in Poland?

So you say I'd better break up with her end an almost 2 years long relationship? Actually I'm really interested in your thoughts on this.

well, clearly your English is not that great- no where did he say break up with her, actually he wrote, "what happens if you break up?" so there goes the teaching English idea....what is next?

Pip, you're absolutely right, he didn't mention breaking up at all. However currently I'm having a long-distance relationship, and as such should be ended at one point: either because of breaking up, or because one of them relocates thus it transforms to a same-city relationship.

Try the Easyjet call centre - arvato.pl/praca_aplikacja.aspx

Speaking English and Hungarian should get you a job there no problem - it's not a great place to work, but it's a good place to start off.

Give me a shout when you move here and I'll introduce you to a lot of friendly people, including our pet Hungarian here ;)

our pet Hungarian here ;)

There's a British Hungarian bloke here in Warsaw who works in recruitment. Might well be able to help out a fellow Magyar speaker (incidentally, he's currently looking for a fluent speaker of Czech, anybody help with that?)

Szia Kepler,
I do not know what working experience you have, but i think it is possible to find a job with Hungarian language skills in Poland. Fortunately some international companies (mainly shared service centers) are looking for Hu speaking people and don’t require any polish skills.

Please let me share some tips (you may accept it or may not :))
I would suggest:
• to google "praca poznan hungarian"
• to investigate which international companies are located in Poznan and check open job offers on their websites. Sending you a list might be useful for this:

outsourcingportal.eu/news,bpo-ssc-sector-in-poland,,,3,1.html
• to check the websites of recruiting companies (for example Hays)
• to check pracuj.pl; praca.pl; cvonline.pl and similar websites
• Also, if i were you, i'd appload my CV on above listed websites, maybe someone will contact you

Good luck/sok sikert!
