It's doubtful he will change it anytime soon; you're better off going to the UK for school. We are a little tired of letting people in here just say they can take our jobs and sit around and call us fat and stupid all day. Everybody hates and yet they want to take things from us and live amonst us. This will be coming to an end.

Ain't that the truth.
Some Poles come here and don't obey the laws, overstay their visas, marry illegally, talk about how stupid we are, how bad our food is calling it "Amerykańska zaraza", etc. yet they are in no hurry to return to their own country. Why is that?

No wonder they have a hard time getting a visa to "stupid America". Maybe we ain't so dumb after all...

Yeah.. and that says it all. "Uhh, you're stupid losers and we're a lot better than you but we don't want to go back to our own country and people" LOL.

marry illegally

How does a couple marry illegally? Maybe it's not just a couple or something. Marrying whilst shoplifting? Marrying with your fingers crossed? Marrying whilst parked on a double yellow line (or the American equivalent thereof)? Marrying in a ceremony conducted by a fake priest?

How does a couple marry illegally?

Clarification:
It is a marriage between a Pole and an American conducted by a Mexican Priest.

How does a couple marry illegally?

One pays the other to get a green card.

They want to move here because we got the biggest houses with biggest back yards. We also got the biggest wal marts too. We got brand new mansions in America.

Everybody knows the US has got the best stuff and the best houses.

While your girlfriend is a student she can get a J-1 Visa for the summer. We have a lot of extra work during tourist seasons here, and your girlfriend could easily find a job, and at least visit you for several months.

I don't know too much about access to universities here, but sometimes universities such as mine need to have a certain number of international students to fill diversity quotas, and so your girlfriend might be able to get some kind of scholarship or grant to come and study in the US. I am trying to see if my boyfriend could study in the US as well, so if I have new information I will let you know. :)

It depends on many factors. There's not any discrimination with Polish only but with every one. Well, if you are good enough, you'll get it ultimately.

i'm having one of those moments where i read something on PF, and i think to myself how badly i would get flamed for making such comments.....

amerykanka? you have really WRONG info!!i have been on a student visa for almost 2 years now. you cannot work on a student visa, only 20h on a campus, after a year they MIGHT let you work 20h off the campus. moreover, there is no scholarship for international students unless you have some talents: sport, music, art etc...or you find a private sponsor. also, grants are available only for us-citizens. to get to any american school you need to show the prove that you have money for it. the whole process of getting a visa takes months and you are restricted. if you do not obey the rules they will kick you out of the country. so pani amerykano, please research or be sure of what you saying before giving wrong information to others.

thank you :)

pani amerykano may be more right than you think. The thing to do is contact the University direct. They do have quotas for International students but it depends on the University. kasiaasia, if you're going to a school in a large city with a large expat community there are probably not many openings and you'll be discouraged from applying but on some rural campuses the case may be different. They may be looking for international students.

My experience is different. There are various scholarships and grants for anybody, American or not, and all depends on a whole lot of factors which have little to nothing to do with the student's nationality.

Oh, and never was I asked to provide any kind of proof I had enough money for studies in the US.
