Posting a parcel from Ireland to Poland - will it reach the addressee?

hi folks. i'm thinking of sending a friend of mine a parcel in the post,i'm sending it from Ireland to cracow and it wont contain anything valuable,just a few bits from here she cant get there! a polish guy here told me it wont reach her! whats the story??

Sounds like he's overreacting.

Just send by international registered (about €15 for 1KG packet) and you should be OK.

A parcel will be almost twice that for the same weight.

Is it really that bad?

Well, if so, just use a courier there should be no issues there.

Send it by post. My wife often sends packages/parcels to Poland via post. No problems as long as you send by registered post and the same can be said if sent from Poland to Ireland
