This seems to be a rather sad story

Tullamore stabbing: Victim 'turned knife on himself' in love dispute

Grzegorz Guzik (30), a Polish national, died in hospital shortly after he was discovered with a stab wound to the upper chest at a rented house on Kilbride Street in Tullamore, Co Offaly.
It is believed Mr Guzik may have turned the knife on himself following a dispute at the house.
Emergency services were at the scene at 7.25am on Thursday shortly after they received a 999 call from the house.

Turned the knife on himself? he comes home to find another man with his wife walking in the home at 6:50 am?

yeah, Right.. cover up if I ever seen one, more then likely he grabbed the knife and went after the other guy but
he overpowered him and stabbed him, and so not it reads man stabs self.. what a crock.

the only three in the home were them.. so of course he stabbed himself... if the police dont investigate then its a sad
story,

Kid's gonna grow up and think, "f€ck, my dad killed himself coz my ma was a cheating whóre poor kid's gonna need a whole load of therapy in the future

if the police dont investigate

Happened last Thursday, this is Monday. I think it's fair to say that it's already been investigated.

The Garde do have forensic investigators you know. They dont really need to rely on Jessica Fletchers occasional visits to the emerald isle to work out who did what to whom. Angle of penetration no doubt showed what happened if nothing else.

Smurf, agreed, id never judge someone who took their own life, there but by the grace of our gods could go any of us,but, suicide is a tragedy that echos down the generations of a family.

Where does it say it was the kid's father who killed himself?

Mr Guzik's wife, Ewa, her three-year-old son and a male friend were in the house when gardai arrived

I wouldnt be trawling obscure internet forums looking to be offended at a time like that.
If that was the reason, sorry, thats weak after all the disgusting stuff that gets through on here.
Lets face it, might not be polite language but it perfectly sums up the childs situation.
What was a mother doing sneaking her *lover* into the marital home at night when the husband was at work and the child was in the house?

Seems smurf has painted quite an acurrate picture of the woman imho.
And what do you think the child will go through as it grows up?
" dad killed himself?"
"yes son"
" why"
"erm,he came home and found me dabbing another mans mess from my thighs and got a bit upset"

He was on holidays in Poland, came home to Tullamore at 7 am and found his wife with her male "friend". Which is a weird time to arrive home at. As only transatlantic flights arrive in Dublin airport between 1-6am. It would take at least an hour to drive from Dublin and at least half an hour in baggage reclaim and to go through customs.

Unless he flew to the UK and got a boat. Which would be a strange way to travel.

The male "friend" only got a small slash on his face. Then the dead man turned the knife on himself. Doesnt make sense. Il await for more information to be released before I comment further.

Very strange case.

grammar dude, use grammar, what ya talkin' about?

What airport you using? & what you using to get to Tullamore, a high-nelly?

Where does it say it was the kid's father who killed himself?

nowhere, I'm just presuming. She's married to the dead chap, she has a 3 year old son, you would think the kid was his, no?

If not, does it really matter? He caught her cheating on him, went to kill the other koles, failed to do the job and was so overtook by remorse & regret for fallin in love with a woman who has a kid with another man and is cheating on him with yet another man that he ends up topping himself.

Awful tragic story so it is.

I figured that, but how the story is portrayed is sad.. because its obvious he didnt kill himself. people do that
when they are left alone, he was not alone.. I dont believe this story what so ever..

By the way, this is not the USA , where everything is a cover up

no its ireland where nothing is figured out!! duh.. the other guy has a slash wound, which means there was a altercation
so if they are ending the investigation or already ended it, thats pretty bad , I find it really stupid, but the only witnesses
were those three.. so of course the can say oh yeah, he stabbed himself.. is the guy going to defend himself? no cause
he already gone!! he cant wake up and say, yeah I walked in, seen my wife with another man, grabbed a knife, but
he was alot bigger then me so the knife went in my chest not his..

anyways.. if your going to Slam America, be prepared to get slammed back.. because truthfully that wasnt a good argument
it doesnt matter now, because the poor guy is gone, yes this story is very sad.. anyway you look at it.

The parents were separated and he was living in the house with their child. The mother turned up at the house with a male friend who was slashed with the knife then Mr Guzik closed the door and killed himself. God help the child.

Not always Patrycja.

ON SUNDAY, February 17, 1901, at approximately 9 PM, Carlos Casagemas committed suicide at L'Hippodrome Café, 128 Boulevard de Clichy, in Paris, France, by shooting himself in the right temple.1 He was 20 years of age, an art student, and a close friend of 19-year-old Pablo Ruiz Picasso (1881-1973), with whom he shared an art studio. This episode played a pivotal role in Picasso's choice of subjects during his Blue Period (1901-1904); he told the critic Pierre Daix, "It was thinking of Casagemas that got me started painting in blue."2(p27) Casagemas had obsessively pursued Laure Florentin, known as Germaine, a young woman he wanted to marry. When she rejected him, he decided to return to Spain. At his farewell dinner, he shot to kill her; the bullet missed, but the explosion knocked her to the ground.3 Concluding the woman he loved was dead, he killed himself.

so of course the can say oh yeah, he stabbed himself.

It'd be fairly obvious from the way the knife was stuck in his chest how it was done, if it was done be someone else & how much force was used to put it there & from what angle it came from. It's a suicide and a quite obvious suicide too.
