You don't need to do a course to learn a language. You can do it in the comfort of your own home.

Have you learnt a language before? What languages do you speak?

Exactly:) Most 'native-speakers' don't realise just how bad their own English is:)

there English isn't great

'there' English or 'their' English isn't great?

I woul just live to talk polish ..

omg... Would you just 'love to speak Polish' by any chance?

AndI think Polish people are so much friendlier lol

Good to know. Just make sure you don't offend them by suggesting that their spoken English is that bad that you have had to take a Polish language course in order to communicate with them.

Seriously, if you're a genuine poster, you don't need to take a course. Just buy the 'Polish in 4 weeks' book and CD, and an English-Polish dictionary like everybody else:)

You'll learn quicker just by talking to them...

There is a beginners course at Northampton college. northamptoncollege.ac.uk
It costs about £120 although I am not sure how many lessons that is for.

If you just want too learn basic words and sentences just buy a phrasebook. I would recommend Polish phrasebook (Lonely planet phrasebook) Piotr Czajkowski
Available on amazon.co.uk.
