Why English do not like Polish?

Yes, and how many Americans have Western-European ancestry? You should know that all North-Western European people are closely related, genetically speaking.

What exactly do you mean by western and north western?

Since France, Germany and Poland got more genetic bounds then they do with England, Sweden etc etc.

That map only shows you one cline of genes which is a subgroup. A result of the spread of agriculture in Neolithic times.

But to answer your question; With North-West Europe I probably mean Iceland, Scotland, England, Ireland, Normandy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

:)

Iceland, Scotland, England, Ireland, Normandy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Noone of them are really "Closely" related besides the scandivanian countries ( except for Finland )...

Scandinavia have been isolated for thousands of years and haven't been mingling with other nations, besides raping a few saxons in England.

Same goes for England... English people today are problably more related to India then to Germany due to the fact that germans never been mingling with the brits.

And don't start to talk about germanic people cuz that happend thousands of years ago.

Indeed you got used to it, you've been stuck in this island for over 1000 years.

Not personally...

The difference between Poles and brits are that poles comes where the money is while the brits emigrate from their country cuz it sucks.

Not really, ever heard about career enhancement? My cousin was offered a resarch post at a hospital in NY but turned it down because her husband couldnt get a job that he liked over there (he's a cardiologist)..She's a consultant now though in the UK, all's well that ends well aye :D

Ah yah i forgot your second national dish chicken tikka masala WOHOOOOO!!!

Im not going to get in to insults about food, neither England or Poland are on the map for this...so wont argue with you..if your knowledge about English food is so limited.

Yea srry i forgot to mention that 50% of your population are GINGERRRRRS!!!!!

Some are even teak..or strawberry blond.

Confident? Haha i dont think so. NOBODY likes brits!!!!

Am a bovered?? They like our Island thats why they flock here :D They love the money we spend whilst in their resorts and cities...

Why do you have to start to be personal? Ain't personal attacks illegal on this forum?

I knew I liked your for a reason, you're the not so bright kid that people take pitty on..

Yeah sure, Amathyst... you're the best example of english politeness ;D

And you are the worst example of Polish stupidness.

Each to their own, I think she's fine! :D

Only fine! Im hurt ;0)

do you read dailymail.co.uk? Whenever someone post anti-polish comment it reaches 500 pluses... Its normal that ppl post such things not only in Poland.

News flash for you sweety, there were about 10 Polish names on the outlook email address list when I worked there...seems like your "own" dont mind working for them!

Britain is clearly still shaking off their Victorian yoke :)

Nah, we got rid of the outside toilets and the dodgy long frocks...

Oh really? And just how many people in America do you think have English ancestors? Hmm? (You guys probably speak English for a reason, but hey, it could be me who just doesn't get it!)

The Irish and Scots went there too..

13.0% of the total U.S. population does have British ancestry.

In total 39,975,969 (2008)

Its too far back to even matter, they're American..not English..We stopped going there in any great numbers after the last shipped docked with those over zelot religious types...

Germany due to the fact that germans never been mingling with the brits.

We have an old Anglo Saxon name in our family which is a German word...The Germans stayed here for a long time..hence our language as it is today..

For someone who can't read properly there is certainly written:

"green pagers who push green thumbs"

...don't make a laugh of yourself

Couldnt think of anything witty to say? No change there then!

You are not witty at all. I just thought that your utterly boorish and proved exactly what I have been saying about you all the time... there no need to comment it.

but you thought of something so please have guts to say it loud...

To be honest, I wasn't thinking of anything until now; I just thought you had a nerve criticising Amathyst when you're nothing to write home about yourself.

You may think of yourself as the only challenger to JustysiaS's throne as the queen of PF put-downs, but you're not even a 3rd-rate fstop or noreenb yet, so that sad post count of yours clearly hasn't helped much, has it? :D

are you a husband of Amathyst or something? I have no problems with any other PF user besides Amathyst who is just a yelling boorish biddy attacking everyone who dare say anything wrong about saint England!

I tak w natłoku paszkwili na Polskę, za które się wcale nie obrażam, te wszystkie komentarze na temat UK bledną

For someone who can't read properly there is certainly written:

I was making fun of you..but I can imagine your painfully stern face now..not actually getting it...Which has amused me immensely..

I just thought that your utterly boorish

Have you been reading Jane Austin?

You may think of yourself as the only challenger to JustysiaS's throne as the queen of PF put-downs,

She wishes...Jysty is No.1

saint England!

And you should bow when you utter this word! Biatch!

Amathyst the fact that you continue this discussion means that I said something about you which is true and now you can't let youeself go.

And don't start to talk about germanic people cuz that happend thousands of years ago.

What the hell are you talking about? Germans and Dutch/Flemish are Middle Germanic ppl, Frisians, Norwegians, Swedes, Danes, English, Scots, Icelanders are West-Germanic ppl and are therefore related. Just because it happened thousand years ago, they are related. But this doesn't mean they like each other. It just means that they are all Germanic ppl.

Same goes for England... English people today are problably more related to India then to Germany due to the fact that germans never been mingling with the brits.

Just look at our languages and compare. Plenty of Fresians, Germans and Norwegians moved to the Island. If you go back far enough, you'd see that the Island was attached to the mainland once. Genetics change all the time, but with closely related I also mean culture, language and customs. I'd say I have a lot in common with people from all the countries I've mentioned earlier.

The Irish and Scots went there too..

How about New York? (New Amsterdam.) I'd say most white Americans have North-Western European heritage. Shortly before and after the second worldwar a lot of Jewish and Polish people emigrated to America aswell. Today, people from all corners of the world travel around and settle down just about anywhere, so I guess those maps about genetics don't prove *that* much. Our demographics are constantly changing, but modern humans basically all share the same ancestors.

:)

Just look at our languages and compare.

Well if we gonna start to talk language, culture etc etc then you can include the whole Europe, instead of just saying Western europe bla bla...

Tired of people who are so uneducated and still use the political form "western" "eastern" europe that dissapeared in the late 80's.

This is how Europe is divided today.

I guess you did not read my reply? Moze tak i moze nie? I am a normal English guy who has lots of Polish friends and have visited my friends in Poland many times and also welcomed them into my home as near family. You have to grow up my friend, the world does not owe you or me a living! We have to share cultures, food, stories, songs and often sadness and sometimes joy! I was with a Polish girl for almost four years and I learned a lot about Polish culture even read Cappernicus. I loved every minute and consider Poland my second home.

Hope this stops the thoughts that Britons don't like Polish people. Remember in the second world war there were over 20 Polish squadrons flying Spitfires and Hurricanes against the Nazis in Germany and many pilots both Polish and British died on the same soil to give us all the right to be free!

Pozdrawiam, Paul

I thought Fresians were cows, A J ;) ;)

It was not about Britons, Paul, but English folk.
