and be thankful that we let you set up a (half assed) government in exile in our country biatch

You had no choice, you needed all the help you could get and beggars can’t be choosers as the saying goes.

You had no choice

Really? It would have been the easiest thing in the world to make peace with the Germans. Britain DID NOT have to go to war with Germany!

Perhaps you should have tried that; but you didn’t did you?

That is because they did choose otherwise which sort of pisses all over you previous point.

You had no choice

Nope you simply had no choice, either put up with Poles or surrender your Empire to Germany. So you chose the lesser of two evils and now you b**** and moan about it.

There are some significant circumstances during WWII, and thats not one of them.

"There is non so blind as those that wont see".

Britain had a choice and history shows what that choice was. That my friend is a fact, you however seem to deal in fiction.

Through moral obligatories

Breakthrough; acknowledgment at least. There’s hope for you after all.

Britain had a choice and history shows what that choice was.

So you made a bad choice; now deal with it.

The British did have to go to war to stay an independent country/empire they had no choice. No country goes to war for altruistic reasons.

Economic dominance and fear of the loss of influence in Europe.

September 1939
Germans had 9,000 guns: 2,750 tanks: 2,315 aircraft
Soviet Union had 4,959 guns: 4,736 tanks :3,300 aircraft
total 2 million man

Poland had 4,300 guns: 880 tanks: 400 aircraft
total 950,000 man

may 1940
France and allies had 13,974 guns: 3,384 tanks: 2,935 aircraft
total 3,300,000 troops

germany had 7,378 guns: 2,445 tanks: 5,638 aircraft
total 3,350,000 troops

who rolled over you Anglo-Saxons bastards, if you ware half soldiers what Poles ware you could end the war in may 1940.
the only reason you went to war to protect your empire otherwise you would play dead as in 1939 now you can kiss my Polish behind

Britian stood alone against the Nazi war machine period....

Not even for one minute of WW2.

Before Britain even declared war on Germany the country had at its disposal 3 Polish destroyers. All 3 served under the command of the British for the remainder of the war. And that covers only the zero hour of Britain participation in WW2. As time went by the British enjoyed an increasing number of foreign troops and aid from from quite a few countries.

I've seen weirder hobbies so you go ahead and do what rocks your boat.

The fact remains - GB was not alone during WW2 for even one minute.

Sometimes im convinced at...

Was that an attempt to be insulting? ;)

I ask again: why would Britain have to go to war with Germany other than for the reasons Barney stated in #230? Defending liberty and democracy, saving the world, yadda yadda? I don't believe that propaganda crap for one minute.

If the cause for Britain's declaration of war on Germany was so noble, then please explain to me why they somehow "forgot" to declare war on the USSR. And yes, I'm aware of the deal between Poland and the Brits...

Before Britain even declared war on Germany the country had at its disposal 3 Polish destroyers.

You mean the ones which had bravely fled before the war even started?

Anglo-Saxons bastards, if you ware half soldiers what Poles ware you could end the war in may 1940.

If they had been half as good at breaking treaties as you Poles are, the war would never have started for the British. It's quicker to list the treaties which Poland kept than all the ones you broke!

Shut up you idiot.

I actually said Britian was such an institutionalised nation and part of the establishment.

To declare war on the big bear would have been fooloish at that time.
