You may get a cheap flight from Warsaw to Szczecin with LOT TAP etc

If travel time is not an issue, look at polskibus.pl

If you want to get to Szczecin (I assume you are flying from outside of Europe) by far the most convenient thing to do would be to fly into Berlin, Germany and get to Szczecin from there. Berlin has dozens of intercontinental connections and is only 150 kms from Szczecin - Warsaw is 560 kms from Szczecin and will take you all day by bus or train, thats once you manage to get to the main train station! It will take you 2.15 to 2.30 to get from Tegel airport to Sczecin Glowny train station. Check out bahn.de for an idea of the times and prices. (Indicated at 29EUR from what I can see).

If you've already booked to Warsaw, a connecting flight to Stettin might be straightforward, but its probably reasonably expensive, and you'll probably need to leave a reasonable gap to ensure you make the connection as it will be booked on a different ticket. It might be cheaper to talk to your travel agent and change to a flight to Berlin, or worth it for the convenience.

The only caveat: if you have a visa for Poland but not for Germany, ie you are from a country that doesn't have Schengen visa waiver rights: in this case, sticking to just Poland might be worth it or necessary.

There's cheaper if you go by regional trains - 29EUR is for the headline IC service, but it can be done for around 10 Euro.

The only caveat: if you have a visa for Poland but not for Germany, ie you are from a country that doesn't have Schengen visa waiver rights: in this case, sticking to just Poland might be worth it or necessary.

Doesn't apply anymore - if you hold a valid long term visa for one Schengen country, then you can transit through other Schengen countries for up to 5 days.

Thank you so much for your valuable information.

I already booked a air ticket from Dubai to Warsaw. If I want to go by rail where can I get down & which station (I think Warsaw Central). Is this near by station?

Please inform me in details

Thanks

(I think Warsaw Central)

EIC train dep 16:50 arrival in Szczecin 22:33 pm - the shortest trip (5.5 hours)
cost 120 PLN or so. There are other cheaper trains, but they are much slower and I would not recommend them.

I travelled on this one a couple of times and it is the best time wise and comfort wise. Good luck:)

there are RE trains, but they are hit or miss.

I assume you are talking about the Airport to Warszawa central - it will be about 30 - 40 PLN ( 8-10 euro). When you exit the baggage collection just go straight outside and there will be taxis, MPT is a good company, do not accept the offer of a taxi inside the airport terminal. At Warszawa central train station, if you have not already booked on line, go to the inter city office and buy your ticket from there, all staff are english speaking, when booking your train ticket remember to also pay extra and reserve your seat

There should be flights from Warsaw to Szczecin-Goleniów 3 times a day, It's not that much faster If you have to first get to Okęcie and the Szcz-Gol airport is 45km from the city center... but If she lands there, It could be worth checking out.
