Weird and wonderful sights in Poland

We know the crooked house in sopot and the upside down house in Szymbark and the anonymous pedestrians sculpture in Wroclaw.

Are there any other sights in Poland considered weird or wacky that are worth seeing ?

Anyone got any pics ?

Yes, they are. They are mostly in the city centre, but some of them are up to 1km from Rynek. Part of the idea is that you search for them and at the same time see parts of the city. I know where most of them are. Picture 3, above, is where they all live. And yes, I believe in Santa too.

There was a monument of a frog on Stawowa street in Katowice. The last I heard, someone made off with it. It just sat there, quite out of place really.

While it's not "wierd," I like the dog in Kazimierz Dolny. And I feel so lucky to be going to Wrocław this coming summer.

There is nothing weird about "krasnoludki" (little people). They are among us...Wroclaw is full of them. Kids believe in them and love them, adults are amused every time they see them. Beware of them, don't ever get them mad. Many bad things may happen to you...

Isn't that the point though? Does weird mean something different to you than it does to me?

Chojnice

The bull
and Europas

What`s wrong with loading pics in the forum? They don`t load automatically, but I have to correct the address for the pic to show and it is tiring. When I don`t correct it, it looks like that: Can anyone correct it?

You need to make sure to add a description.

You need to make sure to add a description.

OK, let`s try. I will describe it as Europa.

Yes, it works but the description doesn`t appear above the photo so what is the sense of adding it? It is a waste of time, anyway.

So, not to lose my precious time, why not describe it just with one single letter, e.g., e. Does it work too?

Yeah!!!

Yes, they are. They are mostly in the city centre.

How many of them are there in Wroclaw ?

I found another one.

The Crooked Forest "krzywy las".

Does anyone have any more information about this forest i.e. why are the trees the way they are ?
Kowalski 7 | 621

^ It's a man-made forest, 400 trees were formed this way some 70 years ago probably by intentional cuts when trees were some 7 yrs old . 22 rows were formed this way.

Reality can be so much more boring than fantasy.

Can we not delete Kowalski's post in order to allow the "fantasy theorists" to thrive ?

There is a tank here, almost in the middle of the city. Quite funny to see!

The Warsaw Old Town bell. It cracked on the way to the bell tower, so they just left it there.

364 years later, it's still there.

Yet everyone claims that Poles are thieves. It wouldn't have lasted five minutes in Liverpool! :D
