Looking for a ride - England to Poland- December. Cat is the problem?

Hello all.

My Polish wife and I are looking to go back to Poland for a few weeks over the Christmas Holidays. The problem being that we need to take our cat with us and so can't go by plane.

Therefore, we are hoping to find someone who is already planning to make a trip to Poland, sometime between the 16th and 19th December, although we are flexible on the date. Of course we are happy to contribute to petrol costs for the trip. Our final destination is Gdynia and we will currently live in Sheffield, although we can always take the train to/from any other pick up/drop off points.

If anyone can offer us anything at all please can in touch. The cat is real placid and has travelled by car before, so there's no problems there.

Thanks alot.

Dean

Probably hideously expensive with the train - off the top of my head, all booked via Deutsche Bahn

- St Pancras to Cologne - 39 euro
- Cologne to Poland - 39 euro

But it's unlikely these prices would still be available now - worth a look, though. They're so called "Polen-Spezial" and "London-Spezial"

Seriously, will the cat not be meeowing the whole journey, most do especially when in cat cages. What if it involves a stay over in Germany? Calais to Wroclaw is a long haul.

my berlin return is still 19 + 19 euro. some of those other offers are probably still available.

as u say. it's worth a look. there will be at least ten day advance booking though.

Won't your cats need shots before it comes here coz Poland has rabies? & the stress of travelling that far for the poor creature, you'd be being far nicer to it to leave it at home.
