Will I get instantly laid with my American accent when I speak Polish?

So I am going to Poland next week and I can speak polish, kinda... I only learned it from my parents when we all lived together we only spoke polish. But now I am visiting the rest of my family in Poland and they say I have this really thick American accent... is it annoying to girls or is it a "turn on?"

EU passport is far more valuable.

I think the fact you can speak Polish is far more likely to get you laid than the American accent.

You are going to come about 20 years too late. :):):):) You should have come in 1980s.

Sorry. Sometimes I get an impression there are more foreigners than natives in Krakow. Your passport doesn`t matter anymore.

Another tool who hasn't bothered to register. He doesn't deserve any replies at all. And he doesn't even know that polish isn't Polish. He deserves any fate that befalls him.

Sorry. I'm in a curmudgeonly mood because of the OP.

Well let me answer the OP's question in all seriousness...

The folks at the airport frown upon copulation on the terminal floor. They have hotels adjacent the airport where you can and will get laid by a plethora of the most beautiful women in the world. It is about a five minute walk if you can stand the wait. Should you be between cities, be sure to stop on the side of the road where they are selling grzyby or truskawki, and ask for a tirowka.

Your every fantasy will be fulfilled.

LOL!!

Using an accent and a passport to score.

You will get laid alright. Probably in a brother, mind.

Don't forget the airport staff has been properly instructed for every contingency before the Euros and their task is to make the tourist feel welcomed so the five minutes walk might not prove necessary. The football fans are just expected not to block the area around the gates.

Your every fantasy will be fulfilled.

You will get laid alright. Probably in a brother, mind.

I'd say that girls will be thoroughly excited by the prospect of meeting an American who can also speak their languages.

Most girls can't speak English very well (they're more into traditional things, like homemaking and cooking in PL) - so your Polish skills will be a great help!

Just make sure they understand that you have options.

OK that's enough with the trolling silly boy. Maybe you'd have a chance back in 1992, not now.

It would be a great sketch for a stand up show in Poland, the Poles would find it hilarious.

I believe the Poles would be inclined to donate you a few sheckles on the street if they realized you had an American passport, as you are from a bankrupt (almost) country.

Funny how the wheel turns...

It's quite pathetic that anyone has to travel to another country thousands of miles away in the hope of having some semblance of a sex life.

Is the bad accent just a distraction from even greater personal shortcomings?

Nah, it's more about American "superiority". Over-sexed, over-paid, and over here! As they used to say, back in the day.

"Me no like Blitish soldier
Yanky pay ten dollar more
Yanky call me honey darling
Blitish call me ****ing wh*re*"

;)

Yes, that sounds very right.

As others have also pointed out his knowledge about Polish society is lacking and misplaced by decades and this is despite him having access to the internet.

I'm surprised he hasn't asked yet about how much he could sell a pair of jeans for on the black-market.

Yea, taco dude, the days when being from the US made you a hot item were 15 years ago. I guess it might turn on a few chicks at the local wiocha club in the middle of nowhere, but in any city, if you try to play that up, the "dzem dobrym, yestem TaCoPL from ameryka, jestem tutaj zeby fu.ck ciebie" you'll get scorned with laughter and a well-deserved punch to the face.

How old are you btw, 18? Young dumb and full of ... as they say

You would nearly ride a yank just to shut them up. Some of the American accents are most grating.

Like, omg, we went to like, the mall,in like, Poland and it was totally like, like really weird. They didnt like, accept dollars and I was all like, seriously?

Not really. I bet many young Polish girls nowadays would get excited by the thought of moving to America.

Your Irish accent is quite annoying to us. It swings both ways.

Wow... I now realized this is an English forum, so I am asking foreigners (one's that apparently hold a grudge or dislikes the US) about going to a foreign country.

When I said earlier about flashing my passport I was joking with the comment about flashing cash. I can pull up with my bimmer get out, flash cash and check my Tag to see what time it is in ANY country (except the ones with sandy people) and I would have some ***** sitting in my car before I could even lock it.

I guess you guys misunderstood what the whole point of the question was... my fault for having a silly title.

When I hear other accents, and I do hear them a lot with their failure attempt of trying to speak english in such a melting pot state that I am in, some are more attractive than others.

Australian, French are my favorite accents.

Indian and Chinese are probably the most annoying to me.

So I guess for a better choice of words for my question is... Will my American accent annoy the hell out of people or is it attractive?

I don't talk like a Valley Girl, actually I don't think like anyone like talks like that, we all totally talk like super normal people, as if. :)

I'm sure people will find plenty of things about your which are far more unpleasant.

I can pull up with my bimmer get out, flash cash and check my Tag to see what time it is in ANY country (except the ones with sandy people) and I would have some ***** sitting in my car before I could even lock it.

I believe the word starts with the letters 't' and 'w' and rhymes with 'splat'.

rhymes with 'splat'

With my "Canadian" accent, I would have suggested spot.
