NOT COMING TO KRAKOW- KEEP IT!

What is it with expats in Krakow these days. All smart arse cynical twats. Dont you think that a bloke can actually be genuine and want exactly what he said. He didn't post a message that said ''hey all you anonymous smart arse expats, can you please abuse me - anonymously - oh and throw in a few racist comments too.''

I am glad I was born in a generation when people trusted each other until given a reason not too. You lot seem to be born in a generation that trusts nothing, believes nothing, doubts everything, and attacks everything with snide comments.

Was thinking of coming to Krakow but after reading posts on this site and other Krakow expat sites I'm of the opinion that is a gathering point for every smart arse cynical bastard in the expat world. I'm staying in Prague where people seem a whole lot nicer. In 10 years in Prague I've never experienced the shite I've seen on Krakow expat websites.

Living in Krakow can be much worst than all the post you've read so far... Prague is sooo much nicer than Krakow, but so is Vienna.

Fro some reason Prague and Vienna have a similar "look and feel" in my mind, I’m not sure why... well, I like them both really. People are 1000 times nicer too, like you said. Maybe next year i'll go there again.

He most likely read the racist sh-t that Riki-Rwanda received after attempting to arrange a meet up in Krakow. You have to admit to the passer by, who browsers PF and reads some of the abuse some people give out, it is enough to put most off. There are some fruits active on PF.

You mean there are some utter low life (unts on PF with feck all better to do than jerk off to their own racist BS, yup you're right :)

And yet the same people are encouraged time and time again by the Admin's policy of not discouraging racism.

Must be one of the few internet sites where blatant racism is condoned.

Maybe because they were part of the same country for many centuries???

Adding Budapest to it? ;-) Kraków was in that country for over 100 years.

All smart arse cynical twats.

Thanks a lot. You don't know people in Krakow, but you seem to have a pretty shaped opinion based on... websites. Which ones by the way??

I'm staying in Prague where people seem a whole lot nicer. In 10 years in Prague I've never experienced the shite I've seen on Krakow expat websites

Yes, and you base your opinions on websites - that is real life experience. Now you can be a tour guide around Krakow.
I like Praha for example, but it was there when I was tricked and cheated on. In real life, long time ago - and I don't rely here on websites as you do. Internet almost didn't exist then. Now, should I be saying that Prague is s*it and people there are cheaters? I don't think so. But I do think your post sucks because you have no real experience and yet you give judgement. Come first, be cheated on or treated unfriendly and only THEN start such writing bollocks like this.

Cheers anyway!

Dont you think that a bloke

smart arse

I am glad I was born

Certainly not in Poland, you sound like a disgruntle Brit!

I doubt the citizens of Krakow really care if you stay in Prague or even go to Moscow for that matter:)

yes krakow can be a dumping ground for the lowest forms of english who go there as they would be faliures in their country. Prague is definetly more civilised and has less poverty.

Bobby, the few disgruntled people on here do not represent everybody. They have no life, nothing better to do than fight and argue. Please visit Krakow, you will be surprised how beautiful it is.

And England is the dumping ground for the lowest forms of Poles who go there.

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, Krakow is maybe number 19. Fix up your roads, and clean it up and then we can talk again.

content removed. it's in the bin for a reason.

Be nice, it's probably more like 10... ;)
A great castle, a beautiful market and two important churches.... that's quite a lot in Central Europe.

After you've been to Kraków once, the novelty wears off. I have no reason to go back. It was a disappointment and it's more for other people who are new to Poland.

Kraków has some magic no other city in Poland has - especially the old town and the Market Square - the other city in Poland that has a special feel for me is Gdynia - very different to Kraków but it has some kind of Magic too (not the whole city but the centre yes)

@op

yes expats.cz is the gold standard of expat sites, pf does not hold a candle to it. But it does reflect the chaotic and spontaneous and stubborn nature of poland :)

Regardless of this particular site and Krakow in particular.

I highly caution anyone not to form negative opinions about places or people without ever visiting those places or seeing these people face to face.

The internet distorts things, radically, and almost always for the negative.

Call it 'the dark side' of this wonderful tool.

I am glad I was born in a generation when people trusted each other until given a reason not too

So once again, the reason this was so is because they weren't relying on the internet to judge others or to communicate with them.

Why not do things the way your generation always did? Pay a visit to Krakow, stay a couple of weeks, meet some people face to face, then decide.

Since when are expat sites "real world" ? Go to Kraków, you will love it. Walk through town, have a beer on the Rynek (and yes IYP will tell you it is too touristy, but what the heck), walk with your loved one through the Planty...Visit some of the amazing museums...admire the Flemish tapestries in Wawel...

And avoid at all price all expat haunts :)

adamlyshit, shut your mouth, wypierdalaj stąd, wruc do wody i jakies comix, you give polish people a bad name, both in the country you left in bitterness and in england.

poles are way smarter

Unfortunately you are not an example for that. you are only good for painting englishmen houses, and then you can lick their boots for an extra 10 pounds, so in your frustration you come on this forum and have a impotent *****.. (yawn)

Wroclaw, don't hold what i wrote a long time ago, after first coming to this forum and experiencing harry and delphia instantly against me :_)
