Hello! My name is Florin 22yo,student from Romania. I was in Szczecin 2 weeks ago, and I like that city so much, and i want to plan my next trip there. The problem is that, 2 weeks ago I stayed at a hostel, named Amicus. The next time that I want to be is in middle of october, and the lady from there said that it will be full of students that time :| This will be a big problem. At Amicus I payed 32 zl/day.

Can anyone tell me what I can find there at around this price? Coz, I found some pensjonat Rika near the centrum but on the website says that cost 35 zl/ day and when I called, it`s 80 zl... the maximum that I can pay is 40-50 zl/day as I want to stay there 5 or 7 days.

Please Help me! I`ll appreciate!!

that lady meant students term would be on in October. They have separate rooms for guests

[Moved from]: Szczecin - looking for an affordable place to stay for the weekend

Hi
We are going to Szczecin for the weekend and are having trouble finding affordable accommodation. The last time we went, we stayed here, but unfortunately this is booked out.

ptsm.home.pl/index.php

Can somebody suggest an alternative?

Also, i heard that the market at Turzyn has closed down.
Is there anything comparable in Szczecin?

Thanks a lot in advance!
Cheers

Merged: Inexpensive place to stay 1st month (Szczecin)

Hi,

In September I will arrive in Szczecin on my own for work, and my family (wife and son) will arrive in November.

So I have 2 months to work and save before renting an apartment (and also use this time to get around the city and find a suitable place to live).

Where should I stay during this time? Airbnb is ultra expensive, and hotels too, I was thinking about a room in a shared apartment. My main goal is to save as much as possible during this first months in order to have some cash when my family arrives.

Thanks
Riccardo

I've been visting Szczecin few months ago. I spend 3 nights in Hotel Dana. Maybe it's not cheap but it's very comfortable and clean! Nice rooms and great staff. I recommend it

Have a look at this website. It's in Polish unfortunately, so you will have to find someone to translate for you.
Hopefully you can find something in your price bracket.

Hi.

Check this website e-turysta.net/noclegi-szczecin/ The cheapest rooms to rent I found there, are in dormitory (student's campus) - "dom studenta" in Polish.

ANDROMEDA Dom Studencki ZUT in Szczecin
e-turysta.com/andromeda-dom-studencki-zut-w-szczecinie-szczecin-126800.html?idw=15912066-caf

Dom Studenta Arkona
e-turysta.com/dom-studenta-arkona-szczecin-101684.html?idw=15912066-caf

Both Chopin Street - easy and short distance from city centre.

If you don't mind to share a room with few others guys check FIRLIK Hostel
firlik.com.pl/index.php/en/prices
or
Shelter(hostel) CUMA. Have a look at the position "sale wieloosobowe". Prices are from 19 to 21PLN per day for a bed.
ptsm.home.pl/index.php?module=CMpro&func=viewpage&pageid=80

Other website you can find accomodations in Szczecin noclegi-tanie.pl/noclegi.php?miejscowosc=Szczecin

Elliot Kelly

Try above and Infoludek.pl when you will be looking for an apartment for your family. This is the most popular and common known in Szczecin advertisment website.

ogloszenia.infoludek.pl/ogloszenia/kategorie/short/nieruchomosci_stancje.xhtml#MMob=/id,38,start,20,size,20
ogloszenia.infoludek.pl/ogloszenia/kategorie/short/nieruchomosci_wynajme.xhtml

Unfortunately all ads are in Polish. You can contact landlords/owners by email. Some of them for sure understand English.

Good luck.

Monika
