Ktos 16 | 440 24 Dec 2015 #1Us Polish and Russians both hold strong Christian traditions (some of the strongest in the world today) although from different ends of the spectrum. We should both celebrate that fact and the fact that nations located so close to one another are the spiritual centers of the world when it comes to eastern and western versions of Chrostianity. I welcome our Russian comrades to celebrate together in the spirit of Christianity together during this special time.
Atch 18 | 3,833 24 Dec 2015 #2The Russians are Orthodox. They celebrate Christmas in January but a very nice thought Ktos. Have a Happy Christmas yourself. God Bless you.
Crow 160 | 9,400 24 Dec 2015 #3As a Serbian i for sure support closer Polish-Russian ties but, at the same time i don`t give up from thesis that Slavic civilization needs to develop thru cooperation, coordination and mutual coexistence of two great conglomerates that should exist as two states in global worldwide arena. Those conglomerates should be Intermarium and Eurasian Union. As for Polish and Russian Christians i support unity of Christianity. Christianity started as united religion and should be reunited, no matter who gave greater contribution to divisions within Christianity, no matter who was responsible for split of Church. Simple, its the matter of faith. How can people who lead Church convince faithful people that Church which started united, now isn`t united but still on the path of our Lord Jesus Christ. As idea Christianity was born as a whole and therefore, to live, it have to be reunited- by peaceful means of course. Finally, i would remind both- Poles and Russians that they both don`t forget Svetovid and old pre-Christian Slavic spirituality. Its the matter of loyalty to ancestors and, with it, loyalty to our children, to the future of Slavdom. This don`t need to exclude Christianity but to goes hand in hand with it.Slava!
Velund 1 | 672 25 Dec 2015 #4The Russians are Orthodox. They celebrate Christmas in JanuaryChristmas is a good enough thing to celebrate it twice. ;)
OP Ktos 16 | 440 25 Dec 2015 #5This don`t need to exclude Christianity but to goes hand in hand with it.Exactly, as a Catholic and Slavic pagan (these can coexist) I support the idea.
Crow 160 | 9,400 25 Dec 2015 #6In a world of global civilizations, culture that fails to preserve its own unique characteristics inevitable must face assimilation by other cultures.Merged: Putin invites European Jews to move to Russia - what Poles think of this development of situation?Putin invites European Jews to move to RussiaSource: RT, Sputnik Wednesday, January 20, 2016 | 09:16b92/eng/news/world.php?yyyy=2016&mm=01&dd=20&nav_id=96754In a meeting with members of the European Jewish Congress (ECJ), Vladimir Putin suggested that European Jews should immigrate to Russia. The Russian leader made the statement after ECJ President Vyacheslav Kantor complained about the rising anti-Semitism across Europe, saying that European Jewry is facing the biggest discrimination since the end of the World War II, RT reported.
OP Ktos 16 | 440 22 Jan 2016 #7Putin invites European Jews to move to RussiaPutin is playing a Jew card, he wants to sway the powers of masons his way so that not only the western capitalists can have the biggest chunk of it. Masons are in charge of everything, they have more money than anyone else and are in large proportion made up of Jewish members so no wonder that the world's most powerful mason (Putin) is inviting Jews in. He is a perfect politician, cunning to the core, he can make Jews appear or disappear at will but at the moment he is playing it like the best tactician. I just wonder how Russians feel about it and how the Orthodox Church looks at it.
jon357 72 | 21,114 22 Jan 2016 #8Ktos, dear boy, Putin is neither a Jew nor a Mason.Shame really because if he was a Jew he'd have left Russia and if he was a Mason he'd be a good person.
OP Ktos 16 | 440 22 Jan 2016 #9Next time put your Jewish glasses back on, I did not insinuate that Putin is a Jew, in fact it is non-Jews who have welcomed Jews better than Jews themselves, on the other hand, Jews never welcomed non-Jews anywhere, example is hostile Jewish community and even more hostile Israel. Are you sure if Putin was a Jew he would have left Russia? So how come thousands of Jews live there? Next time you want to be smart better educate yourself. Masons are good people? Masons are the ones who start and finance wars and decide when to end them, and yes, most of the war mongrel masons are Jews. Shame on Jews but Jews can not stand others knowing the truth about them (they want the sympathy wagon going) so they hide it.
Roger5 1 | 1,455 22 Jan 2016 #10Masons are in charge of everythingNonsense. Shape-shifting reptilian aliens are. Haven't you seen the YouTube vids of Obama and HMQ Elizabeth? (some of the aliens are Jewish)
jon357 72 | 21,114 22 Jan 2016 #11mongrel masons are JewsDo tell...Masons are in charge of everythingIn Warsaw, they can't even organise their annual Christmas Dinner so I think we can say they aren'tin charge of everythingin large proportion made up of Jewish memberAlso completely untrue.they have more money than anyone elsIf only, sigh......
jon357 72 | 21,114 22 Jan 2016 #13It's certainly a myth that they run the world or even want to. Or have any sort of common political goal. And membership (so I gather) tends to reflect the broad spectrum in society, albeit a bit middle class and over 35.Interestingly though, in Poland there's a higher proportion of women members, especially well-educated younger women, than in most places. There was an excellent exhibition with talks and lectures at the Muzeum Narodowy in Warsaw last year.
OP Ktos 16 | 440 25 Jan 2016 #14No, people with a lot of money, influence and power do not want to run the world, most of them do not (99%), history has shown it is certainly not the case, instead they fight for justice, for the poor and disadvantaged and they are most charitable.
jon357 72 | 21,114 25 Jan 2016 #15they fight for justice, for the poor and disadvantaged and they are most charitableAbout the group of people about whom you know next to nothing but are still pathetically maligning, this is actually very true.
NocyMrok 25 Jan 2016 #16Mods isn't this offtopic? Jon. Why do you even post here in this thread. You're not Polish neither Russian nor Christian.
jon357 72 | 21,114 25 Jan 2016 #17Don't be silly Nocy, this thread doesn't have much of a topic (and if you'd bothered to look, you'd have seen that it's in the off-topic section), isn't in any way about oecumenical relations and in any case you should think very carefully about the way you show yourself up whenever you post.
jon357 72 | 21,114 25 Jan 2016 #19You certainly seem to, given the creepily stalking (and semi-literate) posts.
jon357 72 | 21,114 25 Jan 2016 #21It certainly seems to matter to you, an individual who seems in permanent meltdown whenever he reads an opinion he doesn't understand...
NocyMrok 25 Jan 2016 #22It certainly seems to matter to youNo it doesn't. Actually I'm pretty happy that you exist. Really. You're a living proof of evolution being real thing. Thanks for that.
jon357 72 | 21,114 25 Jan 2016 #23You're a living proof of evolution being real thing. So is every living creature. Sadly some people (and I'm thinking of you) don't quite evolve the brain power needed to post an intelligent comment here.
NocyMrok 25 Jan 2016 #24So is every living creature. No no no. Evolution is all about adapting to continously changing environment. It happens basically randomly by mutations within dna. Sometimes changes are for good sometimes they're for bad. After some time those bad gene mutations are being eliminated in one way or another. That's the reason you're gay. Your dna won't be carried into next generation. Your bloodline ends with you. Bad mutations eliminated.Evolution rocks!
jon357 72 | 21,114 25 Jan 2016 #25Evolution is all about adapting to continously changing environmentSomething ultra-conservatives try their damndest to avoid.Your dna won't be carried into next generationA bit late for that (by two generations!)
Crow 160 | 9,400 26 Jan 2016 #26KtosThere is something in it what you speak. Behind the scene aren`t just great powers but also great magnates who often plays their games for its own interests, no matter interests of states where they formally live. When we speak of Jews, we have to understand that Russia have its history of encounters with them, to say that way. During Tzarist Russia Jews did suffered to some extent but also were greatly, as anywhere, involved in executive power. Russia even partly ethnically cleansed the Jews from its territory but, as i know and what is glad to me, Russia didn`t choose of mass executions of Jews, as what is case with Germans which did it. Anyway, Jewish magnates didn`t forget their negative episodes with Russia and in my opinion, there is slight possibility that Communist revolution and factor Lenin were in fact revenge of Jewish magnates on Russia, Russia`s ruling dynasty Romanov and Russian magnates. i mean, Lenin was trained in Germany and then was uploaded into Russia. We all know how many Jews was involved in communist movement. Non-Russians were ideologists and main leaders of the movement. What is fascinating to me is how powerful magnates functioning, often absolutely excluded from the rules that apply on ordinary people. Those powerful circles clashes among themselves, sometimes even in most brutal ways, sometimes their clashes means wars of global magnitudes, involves many peoples and nations. Then, sometimes, magnates often collaborate between themselves. In any case, reality often twists from things that appears visible.
NocyMrok 26 Jan 2016 #27A bit late for that (by two generations!)So you have double standards even in your (homo)sexuality? This just shows how untrustworthy person you are.
jon357 72 | 21,114 26 Jan 2016 #28So you have double standardsHow funny you are.And nothing to do with Russian-Polish relations, an area where the traditional relativism and liberalism of Poland and the traditional absolutism and conservatism of Russia are so often at odds.
