Poles -- Europe's very best?

Poles apparently regard themselves as Europe's most attractive people who have the best food and can hold their booze better than others. Do you agree?

No, we don't. I think you only raise this issue to provoke some well-known trolls of the Polish Forums to take part in another pointless discussion.

Yes, actually ;) ... Well, OK, the fairer half, anyways.

However:

[...] 17 percent of Poles think they are the best drivers in Europe, however.

So 17% of the sample were clearly smoking crack when responding. That's gotta be a concern.

The Polish are equally "British" as the British! - reveals the Guardian poll!

Question: Is Great Britain a country I admire? was answered 'Yes' by 47% of the British respondents as well as by 39% of the Polish respondents [and only by 33% of the German ones, 22% of the French, 29% of the Spanish].

Question: Is Great Britain a country I do not admire? was answered 'Yes' by 23% of the British, of the German, of the Polish, while other nations were more sceptical towards Britain: 25% of the Sanish and 35% of the French did not admire Britain.

The women? But of course! The men? Average-looking.... (don't mean to generalize). Polish food is nice, but you'd have to be a retard to say it's better than Italian or French food in terms of being the best; I wouldn't say Polish food is even among the international best. As for booze, I'd say the Irish tend to be more drunks than Poles, but then again Poles are greater heavy-liquor drinkers, but not as much as the Russians in my opinion.

Haha look at one guys comment on the article page:

British Self-depreciation.

If we thought we were good at things then we simply wouldn't be British.

It was asked a bit different way , who can take more and not to get drunk ..... In my opinion British drink t much more strong alcohol and more frequently .

I think Polish guys are very goodlooking. Who is the sexiest TV star in USA? ........ polish guy - Jared Padalecki . See on You Tube how female audience reacts , haha . :)

"Fifty seven percent of Poles told opinion pollsters ICM that they thought they were the most attractive in Europe" Well Polish girls (while still young) in general are pretty, there are definitely a lot of them. As for men i dunno i don't look at them that way.

It's obvious that the world needs to be Polanized. We already have the North Pole and the South Pole. Now it's time to convert the middle.

Whatever. Everyone's ugly, and if they're not ugly on the outside they're probably ugly on the inside. I don't think there's a reason to be proud of being a heavy drinker either.

What is there not to agree with?

Well said.

Where do they find these people to answer the questions? I've never been interviewed for a poll and no one I know has ever been interviewed for a poll

It's all depends on whether they have their mask on or off ;)

we are old core of Sarmatia. Era of Poland coming. Fate of Slavija shall be decided in Poland. Serbs sense that and they gather to take part in LAST AND ULTIMATE BATTLE. There was no battle for Poland or for Slavija without Racowie and there won`t be

the only great thing in poland is the inferiority complex....

the thing is where there is an inferiority complex there is also quite senseless pride to compensate for it

Going back to the OP, holding booze is more late teenage talk. It's an egotistical concept based on BS and practised by many nations.

Best food? It's a matter of preference, really. I would say they tend to overrate their food. If you have travelled a bit then you come across some more varied cuisine. I much prefer Asian food, regardless of country. The biggest Polish mistake is the inferiority complex where they see things as better or worse, rather than using the word 'prefer'. I'm not trolling here, it's just true.

As Poles begin to travel more, they may well revise their assessment but some will always cling to their beliefs, no matter what.
