The US sends troops to Poland for drills

So tell us, the vast majority of Poles who are aware of our history and know what Russia is like, why we are idiots.

I'm assuming that was directed at me?
Poles that know their History know that both Germans (Germany/Prussia/Teutonic order/Austria) and Russians exploited Poland for their own benefits and can see that both sides(east and west) are playing a game. Tell me why is it that America is hated wherever they stick their nose in someone else's business? Because there is a hidden catch to everything, they want something in return (just as they used Poland for CIA-torture-Black sites). Tell me why U.S.A released Ukrainian terrorist Bandera to cause destabilization in Poland and Ukraine after WW2? Is their really a good vs evil cold war mentality? Is U.S.A really Poland's friend? or is this a game where Poland is getting played like a pawn?

Moscow calls US, NATO military buildup near Russian borders 'unprecedented'

isidewith.com/news/article/moscow-calls-us-nato-military-buildup-near-russian-borders-unpr

Russia's Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has urged his Pentagon counterpart Chuck Hagel to help cool down the rhetoric over Ukraine and described NATO troops massing near Russian borders as "unprecedented."

Vortex.

That not yet that. NATO promised not to send substantial forces to Poland. 600 troops to few countries is not substantial.

They said the number might be up to 10,000 eventually.

(just as they used Poland for CIA-torture-Black sites).

American: What a horrible shame if was true !!!!!!!!!!! We used to pride ourselves thinking the United States of America was above rest of the world in torture ... such a blemish !!!!

Poles that know their History know that both Germans

Thats fine if you view Russia,Poland and NATO as academic exercises in social media, but Poland has hard realities to face to defend itself against the rise of another Russian Empire.

Russia and NATO is not a video game, Russia occupied Poland until twenty odd years ago and many young Poles living today were born under that occupation.

NATO is there to defend Poland, USA is the leader of NATO (to all intents) and nobody in Poland could give a **** about academic discussions when the nations survival (and the lives of its citizens) is under threat.

Poland is more hawkish than USA or NATO and always has been, the 2% expenditure of GDP on defense is in the constitution is there for a very good reason - to defend against Russia.

Russia has Plans for a Eurasian Union, all Poland and E.U has to do is join it. No more problem of war. No more war mongers.

Russia has Plans for a Eurasian Union, all Poland and E.U has to do is join it.

Poland has no interest in joining any such union. Poles have no interest in joining any such union. The fact you even suggest that Poland should join it shows that you know nothing about Poles.

Poland joined the European Union did it not?
Harry

You know why Poland joined the European Unions?
Because 78% of Poles voted in favour of Poland joining it.

There's no chance that even 7% of Poles would vote for joining Putin's Eurasian Union.

The only way Poland would join Russia is at gun point, even then not without a fight.

I agree completely. Suggesting Poles would welcome Union with Russia... Going into the street and asking ppl what they think about it would be a great fun :D

Rome was not built in a day...give it time and more and more people will consider going on board with the Eurasian Union as the European Union continues to sink.

Depends on the offer.

Again even by your logic, 1. The president was removed prematurely only 1 year from elections with many of his supporters who are from eastern Ukraine (which you will refuse to see or simply deny) and many of his opponents from Western Ukraine..What if this happened between Rep and Dem in America? you can pull the corruption card on anyone of those politicians.

I'd say that it's a basic human duty to prevent genocide. Maybe when you grow up you'll think that too.

Russia claimed the same thing in Crimea, so why the double standards?

Statements of fact, although I do understand you have difficulties telling the difference between facts and lies.

Many people do, especially because you got so good at doing it over the years

Russia claimed the same thing in Crimea

You are very simply lying, son: not even Putin would have the balls to claim that the Ukrainians were in the middle of ethnically cleansing Crimea or that they had recently committed genocide.

You are very simply lying, son

I don't know about Putin, but this is the opinion of Russian people in Crimea who where worried about the nationalistic elements which you will just deny.

Really? So find me people in Crimea claiming that the Ukrainians were in the middle of ethnically cleansing Crimea or that they had recently committed genocide.

I never stated that, you are malicious aren't you? I only stated people had the fear of Nationalistic elements, not that any ethnic cleansing was taking place. Who knows maybe without Russia there would have been? but again this is just speculation.

The government of Ukraine was not overthrown: the same parliament voted for a new one.

The parliament building was surrounded by a violent mob, some members of the parliament were beaten, others couldn't enter the building, and during the votings some members pressed more than one button.

Rubbish. You said

I don't know about Putin, but this is the opinion of Russian people in Crimea who where worried about the nationalistic elements

with "this" being "that the Ukrainians were in the middle of ethnically cleansing Crimea or that they had recently committed genocide".

This is true and widely reported, the mockery of democracy in Kiev was as convincing as the mockery of the referendum in Crimea.

Can ALL posters get back on topic please.
