President Duda wants fairer distribution of wealth in Poland

"We need bread in our country to be fairly distributed. Today it is not," Duda told a Harvest Festival at Jasna Góra in Częstochowa, southern Poland. "Polish farmers have never let us down, even when we had to defend our country," he added. "It is rural families that have maintained the great tradition of patriotism, faith, hard work and prayer," the president said.

His words reflected the philosophy of the Law and Justice (PiS) party which promotes the welfare and advancement of the entire nation. The now ruling Civic Platform party mainly favours coroporate circles and the better-to-do urban class.

So if it needs to be fairly distributed, that means that Duda is for abolishing KRUS, right? It's entirely unfair that some of us have to pay high ZUS contributions while rich farmers pay next to nothing on KRUS.

I mean, fairness is that everyone pays taxation fairly, right?

His words reflected the philosophy of the Law and Justice (PiS) party which promotes the welfare and advancement of the entire nation.

Entirely untrue, as shown by how Jarosław Kaczyński refused to give a payrise to nurses.

As for "fairer distribution of wealth", it reminds me of this.

PiS and Communism, entirely the same thing.

So what is the Dud going to do about nurses and teachers' salaries?

Sweet FA, that's what.

So what is the Dud going to do about nurses and teachers' salaries?

Indeed. I notice that he's rather silent on those - probably because most of them don't vote PiS.

KRUS should be abolished as the very first step of ensuring fairness in society. The extra money injected into ZUS as a result can be used to provide higher pensions for teachers, nurses and others.

most of them don't vote PiS.

And most farmers do (at a guess).
Which is why, although

KRUS should be abolishe

it won't happen. I just wonder why PO didn't do it. I know a 'farmer' who does very well for himself (two, come to think of it) and he's never set foot in a muddy field.

PiS and Communism

PO and gangsterism entirely the same thing!

he's rather silent on those

It's not the president's role to get involved in every minor issue -- only to pont in the general direciton. KRUS and nurses' pay are things for the future government to tackle.
