What is the population of Poland's non-european minority?

why are you debating me then?

I'm not. Nobody is. As much as you dislike immigration, the world is changing. You can rail against it, go on marches, break windows. You will not stop it.

We can encourage multiculturalism everywhere at the same time.

It doesnt work, look at England, it has failed, we have no go areas for white English people, Muslims calling for Sharia law and India as a country will always secretly dispise Britain because of colonialism (yet happy to work in call centers which are British owned!) same as Africa, its not safe for white people living there (in SA), so whilst you can bang on about multi-culti and say how lovely it is, its never going to work, its failed all over Europe - because of lack of integration, Im not saying all none Europeans fail to integrate, Afro Caribians came here and mixed well and and so do a lot of Chinese people who have settled and are 2nd and 3rd generation, but for the most part people form their own communities and dont want to be part of the wider community in the country to which to have chosen to settle in..Im not saying the English are perfect when they go abroad to live, but I think they try more now since most countries like France and Spain do not pander to them, the kids have to learn the language because if they dont, they're not going to be offered any extra assistance..so its sink or swim! Or go private which many cant afford.

So whilst its a lovely idea that everyone can get along and all mix it up, the reality is, its a mess and has is causing mass resentment across Europe, the land mass and limited resources can not cope with the massive influx of those who want to escape the povery and corruption in their own countries - it cant go on forever, hence the reason Britian has put a cap on immigration and other countries are clamping down too.

When in the course of human history has immigration not occured?
Human migration is a constant but in today's world, with today's technological capabilities, it shouldn't be a necessity.
For many, it is and that is what you fail to understand. I am not arguing against immigration, I am arguing that we shouldn't be rallying around a banner that sees people HAVING TO leave their homeland. Do you honestly think that so many people would migrate to other lands if they didn't have to?

Small scale migration has been the human norm. Large scale migration is a sign that something's wrong with the country of the emigrants. Priority should be placed on fixing that.

Well I've heard other English people say they like multiculturalism.

I live in America and believe me when I say we are a hell of a lot more multicultural and diverse than any European country. Nothing in regard to that has failed here.

It's not big enough. Poland definitely needs more multiculturalism from non-European nations.

what are reasons that you to think this way?

India as a country will always secretly dispise Britain because of colonialism (yet happy to work in call centers which are British owned!)

We do not require the aid," he said, according to the official transcript of the session.
"It is a peanut in our total development exercises [expenditure]." He said the Indian government wanted to "voluntarily" give it up.

I hope you are mature enough to understand that call center is not what India needs rather its what Britain have created. In this civilized selfish world no body is obliging anybody.

You got problem with skin colour thats ridiculous but some do like to have it.
Migration have been going around from thousands of years. Of course everything have negative effect too.(Read how America was created).

Poland doesn't really need large scale immigration. The government could not deal with the influx. If Poland became an economic powerhouse, it would be in a better position to support more immigration. With all those people leaving Poland, why would many people want to move there?

To fill the workplaces left by Polish emigres. I've heard of several firms complaining they can't get good labour.

I once taught English to managers in a big international firm in Poland. They said they had to get engineers from Lithuania "because all the Polish engineers are serving beer in London".

And British universities have been conducting educational fairs in India throughout the year (Why the hell they want Indians, who dont mix well,Dark skin to STUDY IN THEIR SOPHISTICATED IDIOTIC COUNTRY?

Becasue foreigners pay upto 4 times more for their course!

Yet there are still unemployed Poles in Poland. Sounds like the workplaces CAN be filled by the local population.
It's likely that some training is needed but honestly are these highly skilled positions they just can't fill no matter what? It is more than likely the pay is just too low. It really is time that employers here started paying employess a wage that reflects the cost of living in Poland. Employers and business owners have always tried to pay as little as possible and then complain about the state of affairs in "THEIR" country but never spread the wealth. You think that changes or stays the same with immigration?

Take a look at the rest of Europe, North America and Australia- immigrants are brought in to work for cheap, stay at the low end of the societal spectrum and increase the rate of poverty. That's the track record of "multiculturalism in our time.

True... but in Britain they call it "The-british-don't-want-to-work-syndrome" It translates as "they don't want to work for crappy money so we'll hire migrant workers who do".

Well, it can change with migration into a country... the wages in a UK factory that I worked one summer (as a factory hand) hadn't moved in something like 5 years (probably because they worked with temps and the migrant workers would accept minimum wage). I have British friends who had to lower their prices because "we can get three Poles for your price"

I have spoken with people in Poland who find some firms do a crap job... then complain that they can't get the workers these days.

Interestingly, the disparity seems to be dropping these days. My old uni is now 8000 for a year, but only 9250 from international students.

The difference could be that they're guaranteed the 9250 from international students, whereas they only get the 8000 if the student stays registered beyond December 1.

Interesting indeed. Is that non-EU? Of course, with the tightening up on international student visas and the drop of UK students, they probably have to keep the prices lower for non-EU.

It is a very interesting question, so we can see how big the problem is.

Let's hope for Polish people that the numbers are still low and that there's also very little growth.

Needs? Ain't you seen what has happened in London?

There is simply no denying that every single African country is in dire need of having their demographics changed permanently. Africa is ripe for change!

Too right!
