I think there are some definite misses with the marketing of these protests.

Over here, the 99%ters are protesting for better distribution of wealth. They use terms like "cowtowing to the wealthy".
Imagine that. I don't think they even know they're talking about Revolution!

Me, I don't like to be grouped with any 99%. Not at all. ;)

Dopeyandomine you are being an ignorant myopic fool when you denigrate the study of history.

And you are simply totally unaware of the 'Polish reality' when you say that. I mean, it's no surprise, having never been here, and not speaking the language.

More valuable than a lot of Degree's these days :)

Indeed, the tide is turning in Poland too.

But still, if Des had actually ever visited Poland, he'd know that there's a great emphasis on "what do you have papers to do?". A history degree is just a route to unemployment, due to the attitude that it "doesn't give you anything" afterwards. Can't expect him to understand that though, as fools haven't visited.

I wonder if you will ever manage to go through 24 hours here without insulting anybody.

Hopefully he can find time to work here for a year helping the country he supposedly loves so much. You're still happy to pay for half of the cost of his flight, aren't you? I'll certainly get the other half.

Of course, I'd love to see him put his time where his mouth is.

I'd give him 2 weeks here before he turned into a Poland hating Yank, though.

Truth is, she made herself - while jealous, bitter people suggest "connections" and so on

Because in 99,6% they are right !

One must be a rich guy to attend the indignant protest. Elite schools, well-to-do parents, designer clothes, newest gadgest, Jaguar cars.

Sorry, I am not going to join the Indignant protest. I am too poor.
