A rally before parliament by Ukrainians wanting to be legalized.

Illegally residing in Poland Ukrainian appealed yesterday to the Sejm for abolition . Brought an appeal for her addressed to the president, prime minister and parliament. Estimates of how many people are staying in Poland illegally , are extremely different. NGOs estimate that is nearly half a million , including approx. 400 thousand .

What is your opinion, it is a little ironic on one level that before and after the war they were resisting becoming a part of Poland, but now they seem to be very keen(: maybe they are a little confused.

maybe they are a little confused.

Give back our land first !

However I don't think that illegal immigrants should be granted citizenship, on the other hand maybe they want permits for work - well ?!

Indeed

on the other hand maybe they want permits for work - well ?!

Let's create an "bortherly" working permit for Ukrainians living in Poland!
Force them to do some Polish history classes (very few to just catch the basics)
Then they can work! (Their close anyway and not too different) If they can get work? LET THEM HAVE IT! :)

As long as it builds up Poland it shouldn't be a problem
Unless they will try to do a Kosovo...

From what i understand most of them work in orchards, if that is the case why did we have to go through so much trouble, I am sure that back in the old days they could have found plenty of Polish landowners in the Ukraine, that would have been more than willing to accommodate them(:

Legalize them all, just think how cheap they'll be able to do those jobs the lazy Poles wont do? :D

I don't know, I am afraid that they will become a bit too much like the Brits(:

In an ideal world , why not, unfortunately there are many gangs of criminals in the ukraine that do not have the same values as we do.

It does seem to be a problem, I read an article about Czaniecki trying to invest in the Ukraine, and the guy is very familiar in his dealings with the dodgy side of the business world and government, after all he made a lot of his money from the transition in the early 90s. Well he tried, but even by his standards of doing business the system was completely incomprehensible to him, and even by his standards very corrupt.

What like the Polish people traffickers they sentenced the other week in the UK? I dont recall much people trafficking by English people of late...So that would say that our values are different from yours, or are you generalising? Like I just did then..

Give back our land first !

Then we would need to give back our western Poland to Germans..right? The borders got shifted by the big three honchos after the second world war and that's a given.

I don't think that illegal immigrants should be granted citizenship, on the other hand maybe they want permits for work - well

Yeah, that's how America feels about Mexicans.

Legalize them all, just think how cheap they'll be able to do those jobs the lazy Poles wont do? :D

Let them clean the toilets! :)

funny,i live in the UK ,and its so much whining and kicking and screening about polish people living here almost everyday,.the whole brexit was about that..we got blamed for NHS collapse now.

but Poland so smaller and 4 times poorer country, got 1.3 millions of Ukrainians ,and nobody complain.

Ukrainians can only work for six months and pay taxes. Whereas lowish paid Poles get paid to work in the Uk and have fill access to healthcare and other services.
Poland has a population shortage and the uk is overcrowded.

have fill access to healthcare

Peddling the old rubish here? That rich PC England using 'racists' arguments. How about some realiabie data as to who is filling access to healthcare?

F.. twerps!

and nobody complain.

There are some voices but far and between. Aslo some people are concerned about the future - them becaming citizens, but it is due to histroy, Poland versus Ukrainian minoirtiy.
