Apparently it was setup for cargo. The way that some people overtake is insane. You see a near hit just about everytime you drive for longer than 20 minutes.

The accident happened during Sensible Speed Day in Poland, an event held to mark European Road Safety Day.

In the same sense as on the picture?

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Thank you for clarifying for everyone.

It seems this was just a normal van , no seats in the rear , no seat belts..nothing.. It overtook a truck , and hit another truck head on , the people in the van had no chance to survive... A big pile of body bags next to a totally destroyed van...

In Ukraine 42 people died , and a few others seriously injured when some clown driving a bus decided to ignore the red flashing lights at an unguarded rail crossing and got hit by a train...

Both these accidents caused by people who could not wait just a little longer to do something in a safe way...trying to avoid wasting a little time , and they have wasted so many lives...So many families will be devastated by these deaths...

What the hell is wrong with people in Poland...? is it because they are such strong believers in God that they believe they can drive like a twot and God will protect them...?? Polish people are not stupid , so why do they drive like idiots on the road...?

Some will say its the Polish roads that are dangerous , but no road is dangerous , unless you drive on it at a speed that is too high for the road conditions , but it seems that Polish drivers consider it a bit unmanly to obey any sign asking you to slow down...

Where i live , in the countryside , i have to say i am quite impressed that everyone seems to drive quite responsibly , but you can,t argue with the figures , Poland has one of the highest fatal accident rates in the EU.. In the five years i have lived in Poland , i have lost more friends in road accidents , than in the fifty years in the UK..

Slow down you muppets , don,t drink and drive...better to get there late , than not at all... I don,t want to lose any more Polish friends , and i have a lady waiting in Russia for me..she would be terribly upset if somebody squashed me and my Harley...DRIVE CAREFULLY...!

so why do they drive like idiots on the road...?

We have fifty years to make up for, chasing West so everyone is hurry up :/
Newer and faster car is tempting. I'm not a Saint (although Peter) but trying hard. Believe me. I hope we will find a Harley peace of mind earlier than RIP.

We have fifty years to make up for,

Ha..most of the things Poland is behind in....are the things you really don,t want to catch up on...

Yes , there are some things Poland needs to improve...but please don,t copy everything from the west... I moved to Poland , because there are a whole lot of things here that are better than the west...Let Poland remain Poland..just sort it out a bit...

is it because they are such strong believers in God that they believe they can drive like a twot and God will protect them...??

They take the Indian approach: if it is your day to die, it is your day to die (and the bloke coming the other way, it's his day to die too).
