Poland blocks any action on climate change

@Rich Mazur

You are just trying to pull one of the many diversions climate change deniers regulary bring up. This and all other arguments are debunked on this page.

Then answer my fu*cking question with a simple yes or no: In the last 2000 years, was the earth hotter?

2000 years

Your question is slanted and tedious Rich. If you are suggesting that the earth was hotter in the Jurassic period then the answer is clearly yes. Tropical.

But there has never been a 0.8 degree rise in temperature in just 140 years anywhere in the Geological record..
Clear and unequivocal statistical evidence of climate change brought about by something external to planetary processes..........of course - it's not going to affect you much (apart from your tropical storms - and even then if you don't live in the Southern States it is of no import)

Your question is slanted and tedious Rich.

It's "slanted" only to the global warmers. And I am asking about 2000 years, not from the beginning of time.
Global warmers hate that question because if they answer YES, then their claims of "man made" global warming is out the window.
How about last 1000 years? No dinos in this period.

Clear and unequivocal statistical evidence of climate change

Nice switch to "climate change". It's "global warming" now and always - just as your high priest, Al Gore, was shooting his mouth off about and made his first billion.

Nobody ever denied climate change. It was always about global warming, ice melting, Miami under water, and the polar bears all dead to scare little girls into tears.

And guess what, there are more polar bears now than ever.

Then answer my fu*cking question with a simple yes or no: In the last 2000 years, was the earth hotter?

Is this one of your "trick" questions Rich ?
A simple yes or no as one of your essays is not necessary.

And guess what, there are more polar bears now than ever.

You googled the same article as I did.
corbettreport.com/climate-myths-debunked/
You are getting to be a real Hoot.

And guess what, there are more polar bears now than ever.

Stick your head in the sand and wait for the burning forests to set your ass on fire.

You'll only have to drive an hour up and down the highway to notice that something is wrong. How many bugs on your windshield compared to 30 years ago? But according to you science deniers, it must be the increasing number of birds that make the insect populations collapse. Oh wait, the birds are on their way out, too? That's the fault of wind turbines, right? Let's build some coal fired power plants then. Who cares about our children and grandchildren. You people are dinosaurs.

ice melting

How about you google for disappearing glaciers worldwide? Or for the melting ice cap of Greenland.

Is this one of your "trick" questions Rich ?

No. A trick question is "did you quit beating your wife?" That's a trick question.
A question that expects an answer that is damning to the respondent is not a trick question. It's the kind that wins arguments or court trial.

My question is calling for a verifiable fact. Either there was a period when the climate was hotter than now or not. Zero wiggle room and zero ambiguity, which is what most people hate because they are unable to respond to it and be happy with their response.

But, the global warmers being what they are, which is the globalists is search for a better way to extract tax money and to seize total control over what we do, will never answer that question not because they don't know the answer but because they know that the truthful one throws a big monkey wrench into their dire doomsday lies.

to seize total control over what we do

What is it that you do that scientists want so desperately take control of?

when the climate was hotter than now or not.

What in the phrase "Rate of change of temperature" do you fail to understand? You are making yourself look foolish. I don't usually bother talking to people who simply wish to act the fool. It must be my age, but I have no time for fools.

What is it that you do that scientists want so desperately take control of?

The global warming "scientists" are the wh*ores. The pimps are the ruling class doling out the global warming government grants without which the wh*ores would starve.

Yes, that 93% is a fake. If you google it, you will find how they arrived at that number. Plus, the true science is 100% and not subject to polls.

What in the phrase "Rate of change of temperature" do you fail to understand?

What part of: In the last 2000 years, was the earth hotter? don't YOU understand? Too complicated or is my English not good enough?

With the mods' permission, I would like to post this rather extensive record of failures in predicting doomsdays. From breitbart.com:

LIST OF DOOMSDAY PREDICTIONS THE CLIMATE ALARMIST GOT WRONG

As you will see, the individual sources are not crackpots, but scientific studies and media reports on "expert" predictions. The sources for numbers 28-41 are linked individually.

Oh Rich, that is a copy and paste and will get deleted for sure.

How many bugs on your windshield compared to 30 years ago?

DDT and Agent Orange had not been developed yet.

Oh wait, the birds are on their way out, too?

The birds eat the toxic bugs.

Let's build some coal fired power plants then.

That seems to be the plan

Over all, 1,600 coal plants are planned or under construction in 62 countries presently.

Then once we go electric cars we will have to even build more of them to create electricity to charge the cars.
By then the sky will have surely fallen.

when the climate was hotter than now or not.

I already said it was Rich, but there have NEVER been the high rates or speeds (if that is an easier term for you to comprehend) of increase of temperature that we have now. You are saying that the temperature will not continue to increase at an even faster exponential rate. Climatologists have successfully modelled that it will. That is their profession - but you and the populists somehow know better than them?

Oh Rich, that is a copy and paste and will get deleted for sure.

I know that, but I do it almost never so, hopefully, the mods will give me a break this time.

I already said it was Rich,

No, you didn't. I know a YES from a NO. If it's buried in an essay with disclaimers and deflections, that's not an acceptable answer to a yes/no question.

So, again: In the last 2000 years, was the earth hotter?
Yes, no, and no essays.

a yes/no question.

It's not a yes/no question, except with climate deniers of course. Deny all you want. The huge majority of voters accept that climate change is a result of global warming caused by man, and that sooner rather than later we will all be forced to pay to alleviate the causes more than the results, one way or another . And only the selfish will burden their children with the whole issue.

My question is calling for a verifiable fact.

Technically, global warming/climate change cant be proven by the scientific method as if fails to move beyond the hypothesis stage, so therefore its a hypothesis not a fact.
Rich Mazur 4 | 3,053
22 Sep 2019 #408
It's not a yes/no question, except with climate deniers of course.

Am I the only one speaking English here? I am asking what happened in the PAST. There are all kinds of objects that can testify to what climate and temperatures were observable in the PAST. I am not denying anything. You just pretend you don't get my question. Plus, as I already wrote, THERE ARE NO CLIMATE CHANGE DENIERS!!! Got it?

Technically, global warming/climate change cant be proven by the scientific method as if fails to move beyond the hypothesis stage,

Again, is my English that bad that a short question like "In the last 2000 years, was the earth hotter?" is confusing? Where did I hypothesize anything?

Just asking about the PAST.

Well idk the answer to your question and dont feel.like finding out bc even if i believed climate change was as drastic as people make it out to be i see it as a business opportunity

Also i doubt that the ancients kept daily recordings of temperature around thr world so at best thered be estimates based on computer models.

But im guessing the climate was the same or almost the same as it is right now.
Rich Mazur 4 | 3,053
22 Sep 2019 #410
dont feel.like finding out

And you shouldn't because the question was addressed to a global warming zealot before you joined.

Here is the answer to my question: Yes. There was a period when the earth was hotter than now.

From wattsupwiththat.com, you can clearly see that first industrial revolution that caused flooding and starvation until 860.

And then Al Gore prototype came and told the masses to repent and quit burning oil and the earth was saved.

DDT and Agent Orange had not been developed yet.

Huh? 30 years ago was 1989. Insects everywhere. Agent Orange was already used during the Vietnam War, and DDT was developed in 1874 (!) and is banned in the US since 1972.

The birds eat the toxic bugs.

Not toxic. See above.

I think well have greater differences in weather. But the climate is definetely getting warmer. You can tell by all the ice melting in the arctic and even antarctica. Still though i believe all this climate change fear mongering is bs. Humans will adapt as we always have.
TheOther 6 | 3,667
23 Sep 2019 #413
We kill the oceans, burn the forests, drive countless species to extinction and multiply as if there's no tomorrow. Sure we will adapt, but the future doesn't look too inviting if you ask me.
Rich Mazur 4 | 3,053

You can tell by all the ice melting in the arctic and even antarctica.

OK. But it's still local and anecdotal. What matters is the total heat in the earth. Without proof, why would it be impossible for the heat carried by the oceanic streams to relocate from the equatorial Atlantic to the North Pole for a couple of decades and then go back?

How about the Antarctica? Has the ice been melting away there? I will spare you the suspense. No, it's actually been expending. If you google the subject, you get this:

In East Antarctica, the ice sheet rests on a major land mass, while in West Antarctica the bed can extend to more than 2,500 m below sea level. In contrast to the melting of the Arctic sea ice, sea ice around Antarctica has been expanding as of 2013.

Duh!

But the global warmers are very adept at finding spots that suit their lying narratives. So, if the heat moves from A to B and back, they will tell us how ice at B is melting but nothing about A getting more ice. And vice versa. Such is the perversion they peddle as science. Just as they never talk about how many birds get killed every year by the wind mills.

and is banned in the US since 1972.

Replaced with other toxic herbicides like Round Up which has now been directly linked to cancer in human beings.
Google Monsanto (the manufacture of the poison) class action multi million dollar on going lawsuit.
Can you imagine what that does to little bugs that the birds eat ?
Not to mention the toxic fertilizers and poison sprays the farmers are using by the mega tons.
How about that toxic poison seeping into the fresh water systems ?
Do you really want to blame global warming on why there are less insects and birds ?

Sure we will adapt, but the future doesn't look too inviting if you ask me.

Not for the polluting countries that are guilty of all that anyways but "us" will be o.k. long after you are worm food.

Not for the polluting countries that are guilty of all that anyways but "us" will be o.k.

These global warming useful idiots pi*ss the hell out of me. They will deny the obvious. They will lie. They will ignore China and India, but blame the US for everything.

Why? Because that is where the money is.

If Trump did absolutely nothing other than to give them middle finger in Paris, he will be remembered as a great president.

No need to Google. Just listen to our man Neil! We're doomed, I tell ya!

Climate change doesn't need a visa johnny. What do you mean, the US will be OK?
johnny reb 48 | 7,142
23 Sep 2019 #418
I meant us, not the U.S.A.
"Us" meaning the countries that are cleaning up their environment will be o.k.
"Them" or polluting countries like China and India will start having a very short life expectancy do to pollution from toxins.
What happens when their fresh water sources start becoming so toxic they can't drink it.
Has Poland ever done a study on acid rain caused by coal burning and it's effects to the lakes and stream ?

Climate change doesn't need a visa johnny.

HA ha, very well put Doug....Poland is down wind from industrialized Germany isn't it ?
Dougpol1 31 | 2,640

Has Poland ever done a study on acid rain

Oh yes. All of the lakes of the Carpathians are dead as a dodo as regards any life. Southern Poland gets German emissions.Slovakia and Hungary get ours.

like China and India will start having a very short life expectancy do to pollution from toxins.

It seems like an act of war by "Them" polluting our air/water for the rest of the world. They don't have any regard for the environment, just greed and profit at the expense of the planet. Meanwhile, other countries like the USA have high emission standards and were trying to clean up past environmental damage. Its doesn't make a bit of difference with these rogue countries that don't care at all.
