no longer allowed to buy That Cat Michnik's paper for their offices.

Who would want to? GW had theri stint of being favoured, promoted and even forced on people, but nothing lasts forever, The status quo has been changing, in case somone hasn't noticed.

18% regime

36% voters voted for them, if you don't vote then you don't count.

they are no longer allowed to buy Michnik's paper for their offices

Or perhaps more and more people realize how full of lies GW rag is?

Pretty much... Kaczyński can't forgive him for having done more to end communism (a system that didn't hurt the Kaczyńskis at all) than he did. He wants to steal his legacy and so he makes up all this nonsense about magdalena cliques and dark conspiracies blah blah blah

Szechter is a son of communists and he has done nothing to end the communism in Poland, unless he killed his parents.

a son of communists

Collective inherited guilt?

done nothing to end the communism

How much time did you spend in communist jails?

What it has to do with anything? Communist have fraction that fought with each other. Sitting in a commie prison doesn't count as ending communism.

Unlike Szechter, I haven't committed any crimes to be sent to jail, I bet he got butt fecked in there and he probably enjoyed it.

fecked

Will people please stop mis-appropriating our lovely Hiberno-English. If you use feck as a verb as in 'he fecked it', it means to steal something or to throw something 'he fecked his rubbish over the wall into my garden' or 'he fecked it in the bin'. You cannot 'feck' a person unless you physically throw them somewhere. You should use 'fup'. Watch Fr Ted. Ted uses the word feck all the time because it's not an offensive word in Hiberno-English. But when they want to use 'f*ck' they substitute it with fup. It sounds much stronger and more effective because the sound is much nearer to the word you want 'bet he got butt-fupped', see? Sounds a lot better, say it aloud and enjoy!

Jerzy Urban could not have said it any better!

a system that didn't hurt the Kaczyńskis at all

And it certianly didn't hurt the Szehter-Michnik clan. They lived in the lap of privileged PRL-ian luxury, had access to yellow-curtain shops reserved for VIPs and stocked with every manner of goods absent from the ordinary market. Michnik had it good in prison. The warders enjoyed chatting with him as opposed to the run-of-the-mill criminal scum they had to deal with. Even common cirminals held poltical prisoners in their esteem.

Indeed. And nothing alters the fact that we are discussing one of the good guys.

Certainly not he was replying to a penetrating line of questioning from the kind of journalist that he preferred to have locked up, such as Mr Michnik. But if Urban had been responding to a placed question from a paid shill masquerading as a journalist, he could have probably said it better (as the historical record shows).

Mr Michnik

It's That Cat Michnik and That Cat Urban. Some people make up idiotic rules but are so cerebrally limited that they don't use them.

BTW where are those "hilarious" biographies. Another thing you raised for the purpose of domination, intimidation and bullying and then tried ot back out of. Par for the course for the forum's LL.

good guys

Megalomanic ego-tripper of the evil genius Soros mould but much, much poorer. In fact the Hungarian Jew recently bailed Adam out when his rag was on the verge of folding. Just shows how those guys stick together. But if the recipient turns out to be a schmuck by frittering the money away rather than wisely investing it, that's the end of the handouts. Poles usually don't help one another even that one time.

one of the good guys

No-one doubts that Urban could well be one of your role models. A compatriot perhaps?

You think jon is a Polish citizen from birth? That doesn't make much sense, does it?

Of course he means Jewish; lots of posts in this thread and others show that he has an unhealthy obsession with Jewish people. One of several things our mutual neighbours when I lived on his street commented about.

You should use 'fup'

Thank you for this off-topic note, we would be dead without you. You're a diamond.

And nothing alters the fact that we are discussing one of the good guys.

Good guys don't run communist propaganda newspapers.

Yes, he does run GW

Quite 'Wulky', a mainstream moderate newspaper, for many years the favourite here in Poland.

mainstream moderate newspaper,

It is actually a leftist, crypto-marxist, laicist/anticlerical and pro-judaic rag, It's no wonder they are losing readers and need to grovel before their plutocratic compatriot Soros for a handout.

In your bizarre and extreme opinion. Not, of course in reality. In fact most readers are centre-right to centre-left, and yes, it's still Poland's favourite.

Still smarting that they wouldn't give you a job no matter how hard you begged?
Polonius3 993 | 12,357

they wouldn't give you a job

If it was so moderate it wouldn't be losing readers right and left.
Do tell us about it. You seem to know more than me.

A left wing progressive newspaper, notorious for it's double standards.

Don't be so silly, Po. It's still Polands favourite news media, whether you like that or not and certainly despite your incessant and inane ranting about its highly respected Polish editor.

Well, it's still Poland's favourite newspaper and a pretty good online portal too. I must say that Po and yourself aren't doing your cause any favours with all the ranting...

Poland's favourite newspaper

Past tense. It is now in seocnd place after "Fakt"
Over the past decade GW's circulkation has dropped form 439,000 to 163,000.
Gop thking they've got a Soros willing to bankroll their codswallop rag which average Poles have seen through.

So still selling well and far better than most other publications and, of course, still good.

And they still wouldn't give you a job when you literally begged for one...
