Polish newspaper websites to start charging for access in September

Forty-two sites are included in the Polish package, comprising major daily newspapers, magazines, and the Polish National Radio. Among them is Gazeta.pl - the site of leading daily newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza - as well as Forbes.pl, which is putting about 10 percent of its content - mostly commentary and analysis - into the digital kiosk.

Can anyone list one or two Polish news websites that will not be charging for access?

Sites that charge for usage are not going to get many readers, simple as that. People do not like to pay for Internet and then have to pay for services on the internet unless it is a very good service. Charging for news is simply going to mean people check the news somewhere else where it is free.

Any suggestions where???

rp.pl is behind a paywall already and I don't know of any other proper news websites.

To be honest I do not go on Polish news sites much [only sports ones]. You saying there are no Polish news sites that do not charge money?

Well, soon there won't be any that I am aware of. There should be some left that aren't asking for money for access, but I don't know of them.

We'll see what comes out of it. They tried already to charge for access in the past, and then went back to free access. Few readers used the service?

Personally, I don't mind if the Gazeta Wyborcza charges for access. I never read it as I find it useless as a serious source of information on Poland.

Merged: Aggressive advertising on Polish websites can turn you off from visiting them

Its enough to turn you off visiting Polish websites altogether.

Why oh Why when I kill one does another pop up? Don't they understand it makes you hate them not want to buy their products.
