What have you done for Poland, oh Polish Patriot, to even have a say in saying who is, and who is worthy?

Just wondering, could you maybe give us an example of what one needs to do to be a true Polish patriot like yourself?

actually, Jan Sobieski didn`t want to abandon Balkan as old Polish strategic point. Same goes for Kaczynski. Serbs had great hope and confidence in Kaczynski

I imagine if Kaczynski were in the battle of Vienna,no Turk would have remained alive.Sobieski was too noble to hunt them.

Southern, do you know who LK is? ;)

Let's be perfectly clear here. Please give me 5 things that LK could have done to merit his place in Wawel? What concrete actions would have made him an exemplary leader?

LG with LM's? ;)

Seriously, please list 5 things which LK could have done to cement his righteous place in Wawel. I don't see 5 of sufficient merit.

I thought Lochness Monster.Anyway Kaczynski seems to have done only 4 things so he does not deserve a place in the cementery.
1.He was elected president
2.He has a twin brother who was also president
3.He married Maria Kaczynski
4.He did not recognize Kosovo.

If I were Kaczynski I would board the Turks on Tupolevs and send them back to their rocks.

Plk123, hmm...(shakes his head like a Greek or Bulgarian) :)

I wonder if Tusk requested him to be placed in Wawel so that he wouldn't be in Warsaw ;) ;) That's how some minds think.

Yes,a pilgrimage to Kaczynski would exceed that to Pope John Paul 2 for sure.

Yes. Rumors say that Serbian Ratko Mladic coming to Poland to Kaczynski`s funeral. Radovan would for sure also come but, you know...

Crow, that was one of the funniest things I have read in a long time, ROTFL. How will Mladic be dressed? ;) ;)

Radovan would need a haircut. The admission criteria expressly forbids bouffant quiffs ;) ;) Maybe he should ask the Hague to pay for a flight out here ;)

He will probably come in his suit in a carriage pulled by Hague judges instead of horses.

Yeah, headed by Mr May, that sad excuse for a judge. He was the fool that tried Milosevic.

Southern, some serious criteria for being a great leader please.

It was just the way you wrote it. Now, what was that song?

Who will the Serbian representative be at his funeral?

I imagine Ratko whiping them and then give them a cigarette. No it will not be your last.Take some wine to last.

I will. I wasn't a fan of Kaczyński but I admired the fact that he stuck 2 fingers up at the globalists. He had his own vision!

I didn't get past the first 5 seconds of the video ;) ;)

Seriously, good stuff!

So, the Serbian rep at his funeral will be Tadić?

Ditto. If this is to be his legacy, it is one worth repeating with future leaders.

Someone mentioned the "Church-syndrome" implying that Poles have a tendency towards expressing fake devotion so as to look good in front of others.

I wouldn't say that all of Poles are like that, but some definately are. Just check the news about a group of Polish workers demanding a right for 2 min of silence during their working hours, as if they couldn't mourn Kaczyński in their free time. But I agree with you that most of those putting flowers by the shrines really mean it.

As for Lech being burried at Wawel,... Well, if King Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki, whose greatest achievement was to stuff his mouth with food until he kicked the bucket, could be burried there, then why not Lech?

Yes,a pilgrimage to Kaczynski would exceed that to Pope John Paul 2 for sure.

Maybe Cardinal Dziwisz agreed to bury him at Wawel, expecting much increase in selling tickets to Wawel graves? ;-) If he was buried at Powązki, all the people could see the grave for free. I wonder, if the family also would have to buy tickets...

I guess the question is, was that a mistake?

Your missing the point Seanus, what 5 things have those people currently buried in Wawel castle done for Poland, some a lot, some nothing, the fact remains that the President served the country and died performing his duty, I have no problem him being buried in Wawel. All those people throwing mud at a dead man during this difficult time really amaze me, hearing people say he was not liked and people are only going thru the motions in showing sympathy is utter rubbish. Seanus you can add to your list the fact that Poles are never happy with anything, always want to argue about any decisions made, and love to divide, This would not have occurred in the US or GB etc, thats why people don't like doing business in Poland.

hearing people say he was not liked and people are only going thru the motions in showing sympathy is utter rubbish.

i disagree.. we're all mourning for the guy and all the others.. it is a true tragedy but man, i just disagree with the burial decision.. that is all..

Well one thing seems likely, not that many overseas attendees at this rate...
