I received a warning from the American embassy in Warsaw that I need to avoid tomorrow's demonstrations since the groups involved are violent. I usually get this kind of bulletin warning of pending Al-Qaida attacks on the Arabian Peninsula. What's going down?

Blood and Honour are taking to the streets in Warsaw to protest about Jews, gays, blacks, Vietnamese, lack of jobs

might be an idea to steer clear if you are non-White or feel like celebrating Independence Day in drag

as for the transvestite members of our forum, there is always next year :-)

an express train ticket buys you access to the nation's capital in around two hours

I was surprised that the Poles banned a Finnish member of Blood and Honour from coming to Poland and holding events.
It is a good sign

I hope that in their morning briefing the officers are reminded of the sacrifices of the people of Warsaw in resisting and suffering Nazi atrocities. As for gratuitous Police brutality in dealing with these people; approved.

Throw them a football or a bone, and they'll forget all about blood and honor, and its St Patrick's Parade.

This will be interesting. Pro-Indepedence side with ONR which fought against Nazism and Communism during WW2, will have to face Germans protesting against Independence of Poland.

German anarchists and leftists are notorious because often involved in street riots . In February, more than 3 thousand . returned to the Dresden to block the neo-Nazi march . However, the police threw stones and bottles , demolished shops and cars . 82 officers were injured. Last year , in turn, provoked the fight with the police in Berlin and Hamburg - beat nearly 100 officers.

From Jewish point of view...
November 11 on the streets of Warsaw's Independence Day will honor the people who want to express my respect for the generations who fought for over 120 years of regaining statehood. Fully, and we identify them, and their presence.

We value them for their patriotic attitude that day and for the memory of Polish history. The same day, the streets of Warsaw will also appear among them people who use the November 11 order to demonstrate their extreme right or extreme left-wing attitudes, and what those attitudes are long discredited. Some of them will be referred to the hatred and tried to use against their ideological opponents of violence.

i
We are against, and one, and second. We disagree with their views - racist, anti-capitalist, anarchist, nationalist - in their xenophobic forms, neocommunism, neofasism, leftism. Also, anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.

On both sides of the street of the conflict will be people representing contemporary movements reminiscent of more or less explicitly to the dangerous and disgusting ideologies that in the last century have contributed to the death of millions.

With satisfaction we learned that Jewish organizations, which last year supported or belonged to the "Coalition of November 11 ', comprising among other organizations, leftist and anti-Israel, this year will not participate in it, leaving its members to make individual decisions to participate in the celebrations the holidays. It is good that the Jewish community of its decisions prove false anti-Semitic stereotype of the "Bolshevist Jews", but does not want to ennoble its participation in the Coalition of Arab terrorism supporting organizations.

Also the Armia Krajowa Veterans' Organisation disassociated themselved with the 'March' when it turned out that a skinhead group called Blood and Honour were involved in planning it. Basically very dodgy. The opposition to it isn't organised by 'Germans' as some (check out the 'other' forum!) would like people to believe. In fact a lot of very well known people have given support, and the concert planned should be excellent.

Such a shame though that the football hooligans, bedroom brownshirts etc want to politicize 11/11.

Jews disassociated themselves with "Opposittion" because of involving groups reffering to communism, bolshevik revolution on the Opposiotion side! Moreover last year there were acts of aggression and brutal, primitive violence, which committed the members of the organizations that make up "Opposition" 11 November (such as the beating of two young men on the train by a group of armed members of Antifa).

As it was mentioned they dont support any extremist (nazis or neocommies). It looks like both groups want to politicize 11/11

If anything very apolitical. And certainly nothing to do with skinheads or other far right elements.

This `Blood and Honour' thing want to politicise something that shouldn't be political. That's why the veterans' organisation publicly disassociated themselves. Not sure why our guest poster keeps mentioning Jewish people. The opposition to the far right political march comes from across the spectrum. Expect some big names at the concert.

You are lying !!!!!

American streets are more violent on everyday basis than possible riots in Poland .

I hope Polish folks don't forget to thank America for the existence of Poland as a nation. After all; Poland was created by US President Woodrow Wilson.

she is on the same telepathic wavelength as the US embassy and it is all nonsense because she is special

like the reports on the radio zet websites about fighting on Nowy Swiat at the moment

It is all starting to kick off and it looking nasty

I hope Polish folks don't forget to thank America for the existence of Poland as a nation

I hope you won't forget to thank the Polish tax payers when you try to claim unemployment benefit you are not entitled to when you have a two year holiday in Poland.

Your knowledge of Polish history is very basic at best. I am sure your knowledge of the welfare system is far better
stick to what you are best at

happy lounging

After all; Poland was created by US President Woodrow Wilson.

Poland created itself in X century. Wilson just proclaimed independence, mostly because of friendship of Paderewski with Woodrow. Also we don't need to thank you for existence of our nation - you can't create nation with 13th paragraph. We thanks you for it, but after WWII, it's nothing we care for.

Woodrow put words, we put blood. A lot of...

This today`s riot is something rare , so the Americans probably have informers among some leftists groups , because they predicted what was unpredictable and I would never suspect something like that might happen . There were marches in previous years but quiet . I don`t remember violence . But there were riots in England , Greece , Italy etc , so some leftists neo nazi groups decided that they can have a good climate for their actions . There were monor injuries though on both sides .
