Far-right party organizes 'pro-Polish' march in Silesia
Polskie Radio

A 'Polish Pride March' is to be organized in the Silesian city of Katowice on 22 January to protest against Silesia becoming what the protestors say is becoming "anti-Polish".

"Inhabitants of the industrial region of Silesia want to show that in their hearts Silesia is a part of Poland," reads a note on the website of the National Revival of Poland (NOP), a far-right nationalist party.

Organizers of the march say that the demonstration will not be the party's only, but open to all "Polish patriots".

i agree. Silesia is Poland.

Yes, if I could be arsed to go all the way down to Katowice, I'd have to break out the face-black and the Prada outfit and the yarmulke and find my "Gay black Jews for Poland" sign.

I think they would be very happy if you supported them ;)

If you could "arse" yourself to go, I would strongly consider paying all your expenses. I think it would be a great investment on my part.

what does it matter. As long as Czechs are proud Slavs, i`m ok with this. Bottom line is that Silesia belong to Slavic world under jurisdiction of Polish/Czechs governments, on the behalf of all citizens of Silesia no matter their nationality

I would have expected, you would have formed an alliance with Thilo Sarrazin en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thilo_Sarrazin and be promoting his book on PF by now.

warszawski

i feel deep sorry for the `Germans`. At first that poor people was forced to abandon Mother Slavija and accept cruel and brutal romanization (that finally resulted in germanization) and now they are being forced to be islamized. In the meanwhile they, who as all Serbs were first line of Slavija, were used as fist of invasion against other Slavs.

speaking of Slavdom, only more tragic history then Polish or of Balkan Serbs could be history of Northern Serbs/Slavs of modern day Germany

but never mind, Dragon would arise again

Thankfully most Silesians today see themselves as Poles and don't support no autonomy.

The free Silesia idea must be growing if they now need to have marchs to prove to themselfs it is part of poland.
Maybe poland needs to apologize for how it treated the Silesia ppls it expelled. The one whos families lived there for hundreds of years.
