Buzz up! MIAMI — Federal officials say they have deported more than 12,000 illegal immigrants from Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands in the 12 months ending in October.

According to a news release, that’s an increase from the 9,105 who were deported during the previous fiscal year.

The 12,753 people who U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported from Oct. 1, 2007 to Sept. 30 included convicted felons, fugitives, and immigration violators.

The same is going on with the Latinos. The blacks are commiting black on black crime in increasing numbers.

Anyways, one of my professors (from ghana) in university once told me that when he first came to canada/usa, he couldn't believe that most african americans are not aware of this. Both europeans and africans are equally to blame for the slave trade. Do they not teach this in schools in the US???

I have read excerpts from the John Sack book....The 'Secret Relationship' book was written by a guy connected with the Nation of Islam (Black Muslims)...There is also a very brilliant professor feom Wesleyan University, named Tonay Martin, who is very knowledgeable on the slavery issue...You can just 'Google' Professor Tony Martin...There is much misinformation about the slavery issue...The British, Dutch and Portuguese 'crowns' had monopolies on the slave trade, but the Jews were the actual ones who ran the trade and collected the money for them in many cases.

it is sad but there is no reason in the world for something like that to happen. we have a judicial branch of the government for a reason if there were something that happened that these four marines felt they had to do this. and i do agree i would hope they get judged to the fullest extent of the law! It is for this reason why so many people look badly on all branches of the us military.

Torq - I actually disagree with you here. After all, innocent until proven guilty so wouldn't it be better to call them John Doe #1, etc? Women often get to stay incognito when arrested by claiming either sexual or domestic abuse as the reason to them murdering someone (often totally unrelated to the crime) - if so, most of the time their name stays sealed. I think it should apply to everyone until they're proven guilty, don't you?
