Dreamergirl 4 | 273 11 Jul 2016 / #1My polish boyfriend never swears in front of me. But when his friends are around, if they swear in my presence he gets really angry with them even if it's just minor words. I have told him that I understand that men swear and if they want to its fine, but he won't have it at all. He says to them no swear she when he's angry. Is this usual?
Poleboy765 - | 66 11 Jul 2016 / #2Sounds like a respectable guy. Yes, this is a normal custom. This would be an "old custom," in the US.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 11 Jul 2016 / #3It's just most polish bfs I have had swore a little but bit even
Poleboy765 - | 66 11 Jul 2016 / #4He may be different, but that's not bad. It sounds like he wants to make a good impression and highly respects you. Which, is a sign of love.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 11 Jul 2016 / #5So sweet! You think it would be different if he knew English or I knew more polish?
Poleboy765 - | 66 11 Jul 2016 / #6No. It shouldn't make a difference. It sounds like he cares, especially if he goes out of his way to hush them or correct them.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 11 Jul 2016 / #7I'm sure he probably swears when he's out with his friends or at work or having a can of beer?
Poleboy765 - | 66 11 Jul 2016 / #8Maybe. But the fact that he shuts his friends up shows he cares. I know a lot of guys who swear and couldn't care less what their women feel which bothers me. If he's considerate, he cares.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 11 Jul 2016 / #9And when he Skypes his family mum and dad in Poland in front of me he doesn't even swear then
Poleboy765 - | 66 11 Jul 2016 / #10He has manners. I like this guy's way. Hard to find Americans with manners these days.
OP Dreamergirl 4 | 273 11 Jul 2016 / #13Yeah. Polish men are much more polite in dating than English men
