Could anyone tell me about any Polish bands that are/were popular.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about any Polish bands that are/were popular. I'm listening to the music to help improve my pronunciation and just to enjoy it. I already know about a couple bands/people, like: O.N.A. (Chylińska), Zakopower, Myslovitz, Hunter, Mrozu, Sylwia Grzeszczak, Andrzej Piaseczny, Jelonek (I know he has no vocals, but he's brilliant<3), Magdalena Tul, £zy, Flos, Stare Dobre Małżeństwo, and Cool Kids of Death.

What more is there? Please and thank you :)

By the way, I wasn't sure what category to put this under, so I figured "recreation" was okay because music is a sort of hobby :P

Cool Kids of Death.

Ha Ha - great name!

Riverside are another great Polish band - they seem to sing mostly in English though, don't know if they have any Polish language material.

Coma is a puke

their albums are only ok, but they are a great live band. as individual musicians they are good, especially the drummer and bass player. the vocalist is above average, but also has plenty of charisma, which helps to carry the band. a lot of young women like this band or at least the vocalist. their last hit was in english and they have a new song out this week, i think.

I haven't heard more depressing band in my life actually - when I hear them my stomach turns - the vocalist and his lyrics play a big part in this revolution

Some Polish death metal is great, but it's not really any good for learning pronunciation in any language lol

The Polish "blackened death metal" band Behemoth is probably the most popular Polish band in the world and Sidliste is correct about that genre of music not being good for learning pronounciation in any language, but only in regards to human pronounciation of any language. However, it is good for learning the Sesame Street Cookie Monster pronounciation of any language

Merged: Popular singers and bands in Poland

Hi! I love Polish music. I've heard a few songs here and there. But I don't truly know any singers or bands. I like pop, indie, and dance style music. So if anyone knows of any singers or bands that do those types of genres I'd really really appreciate it! Dziękuję! :)

Hi does anyone know the name of the polish song or the name of the singer? In the video clip she breaks up with the guy because he cheated on her. And the other video there are two guys boxing (for the girl I think)
