Poles fear gay babysitters

A poll has shown that 57% of respondents would entrust their child to the care of a homosexual but 77% would not mind a coloured babysitter.

Varsovians seem to be kinda tolerant and open-minded, that's nice to see.
As to gay babysitters, pity the poll is not specific about the gender of the babysitters.
Gay or lesbian, male or female, I'm sure the results would differ. They actually differ for straight babysitters.

I seriously doubt about the way this survey has been conducted. I am amazed to hear that for many Poles (even among young and educated ones and even in Warsaw), homosexuals = pedophiles.

This is my analysis of the poll exactly the same numbers

The opinion poll was taken between 9 May and 3 June this year from a sample of 1,100 residents in the capital over the age of 14. The opinion poll shows Warsaw residents are very tolerant of gays and persons of colour, below are the impressive results.

95 percent said they would not mind having a black person living next door to them.
80 percent said they would not mind having a gay person living next door to them.
92 percent said they would not mind having a black doctor.
67 percent said that they would not mind their doctor being gay - although one-in-three did have a problem with having a homosexual medic.
89 percent had nothing against having a person of colour as their boss.
71 percent had nothing against having a gay boss.
77 percent saying they would leave their children with someone who was not white ( teacher,nurse,babysitter)
41 percent said they would leave their child in the care of a homosexual.

They both like the wrong people and its not the norm. So yes they are very similar.

Many people have been brainwashed that a pedophile is a rapist which isnt true.

Maybe you could propose the question to the organizers of the poll.
I would have thought a more interesting question would have been,is it possible for a fourteen year old to answer a question about who they would leave their child with, when they are children themselves?

Sure:
1.Would you like black people living in joint in your neighborhood?
2. Would you mind living next to gay's den?
3.Would you rather have a tropical island all for yourself?


Those polls are highly unreliable anyway, no need to squabble over details.
